I've been watching every video of the Irish Dance- Walk on Stones from the earliest dances up to the latest video! Also, I think the Loktev Ensemble really is Fantastic, especially when it comes from the Dances, Choreography, Choirs and how each Dancer has their own charm that will make the audience to not blink, even for a second. Though, I confused as to why most people haven't seen these masterpieces that your channel, and The Loktev Ensemble has to show to the whole world. So, I say this: I will very much like to see more of these dances, along with my yearning not only to watch the girls dance like playful fairies in the forest, but to also watch more, that the whole ensemble has to offer!
The tune is an Irish reel (dance in 4/4 time) called The Gravel Paths. (Irish tunes were passed from town to town and so often have more than one name, sometimes many). Here's a link thesession.org/tunes/42 In other versions they have a band playing an orchestrated version which is even better. I am from Ireland and find all this very touching. It is great to see our music and dancing from a different presentation. I think they have added a lot!
