Hi, Thanks - both are really good stuff, depending what you need in your song, I use both and I cant say which is better, only the MIDI drag is missing on Striiings, Maybe you can do a neutral video on FANTASY which also can do MIDI drag and I could fit as an add on to these two for the Williams Side of life ;)
Thank you for the comment (and for watching the video). I'm not familiar with FANTASY and don't own it so I can't do a video. Can you share a link to the website?
@@UDiAudio I got it recently. Yes, it has phrases, sequences and ostinatos. It also has core elements for solo performance, clusters and sound design stuff, along with a 4 way X/Y pad. I find it unique and fills in gaps that Braaass can't do (off meter rhythms for example). I love Braaass too and think together they work really well. 😁 Braaass has a more refined gui and is easier to jump into, but Battalion has lots of options if you spend time with it and it has a good brass sound too.
@@UDiAudio I use Augmented Strings from Arturia and it's the biggest surprise for me this year - especially as someone who uses mostly organic/orchestral libraries. I'd love to see how Augmented Piano and Choirs match up to it... UVI have an Augmented Orchestra too... Just some ideas.
@@thomaslthomas1506 I think it's becuase they are using complete phrases from hans zimmers archives and as such they are not indevidual chords/notes that can be built into the phrases you hear. I hope this makes sense..
@@thomaslthomas1506 How about this one? Soundiron? I'm a reseller and this is my shop. Let me know if you need some coupons and I'll see what I can do: myaudio.studio/product/hyperion-strings-elements/
They sound very impressive, however I do sometimes wonder if this sort of cheating, using pre-recorded phrases? There’s certainly a place for these and I have used them a little, but honestly think you’re much better off playing in the parts. Tit for tat I suppose!
It’s just another tool and if it sounds good and useful for your production then it’s what matters. You might as a producer use this to sketch a draft which will be replaced later by real human… and of course if you can play yourself I guess it might be a better option.
Let's get these two libraries head to head

Wow really awesome libraries! Great stuff Udi
They are really cool for anything trailer and cinematic but can be used anyware if you tweak it

Thanks for comparing those two plugins. I love the sound of Striiiings. Would be great, if it features also the Midi drag and drop.
Agreed!
I'm sending UJAM this feedback.

Ujam Braaass vs Hidden Path Audio Battalion.
Both excellent brass sound design tools.
Nice!
I have never hread of this company. But do this library have phrases or just solo performance?

@@D20Music I might shoot them an email and see if they are cool for a review.
If you have other ideas maybe comparing UVI, UJAM,Arturia, NI etc)

@@D20Music I plan to do a review on all three Augmented libraries (arturia) I can match it up with UVI.. but first thing first. Good call!
Thank you for the video!!!!
Sure mate. Thanks for watching ✨
Thanks 👍 great synth 🔥
Both cool libraries 🎻
@@UDiAudio yes of course 👍
One of the best features of Action Strings 2 is that you can drag and drop midi into your DAW ;)
Right!
I actually had that in one of the takes and forgot about it.
I’m planning a review soon so will include that. Thanks for pointing it out.
If striiings had this I’d get it most other Ujam plugins have this, not sure why they didn’t do this.
