- How do we survive on a boat in the Bay of Bengal?
In the middle of the Bay of Bengal, living on a boat requires a deep connection with nature. Our boat is equipped with the necessary nets for fishing, food supplies and places to rest.
You will see in this video:
We usually have a small stove for cooking on our boat, we prepare food in a natural environment. Cooking in the middle of the sea is quite a challenge, because the waves and wind of the sea create obstacles in the cooking process.
The food cooked on the boat is usually shared equally among everyone, and the meal is eaten together. After the meal is finished, we usually get some rest.

what im saying is, when you enjoy what you do, even when you’re in the middle of the ocean, you’ll love to make tasty food and take a little nap.

Four big scoops of rice and what looks to me like some kind of curried fish. They are eating GOOOD. That said, they might only get 1 or 2 meals a day, and I bet the work is quite laborious. Fascinating! Wonder how they cook when the sea is rougher. They are not even having gas. Can be dangerous. Rains can also mean that the wood is wet and wont burn. But the meal seems good and I got hungry just looking at it!! Could sense their camaraderie by the way the food is shared,
