Imagine being Walmart and Costco and calling yourselves "smaller players"... yeahhh. Okay.. talk about being out of touch with reality.
Why would anyone trust Franky Bubbles? We all remember his Thanksgiving Day promise.
Don’t speak for me as a Canadian…….
Whenever he trumpets in his screechy voice that he is fighting for all Canadians ad nauseum my blood pressure goes through the roof.
Walmart won't cave, their being here at all is an option.
This guy is a clown
🎉
This guy is the worst.
Guess Champagne is still waiting for the memo from Europe being NO FARMERS NO FOOD=NO Future. Grocery stores don't grow food just able to import poorer quality
Mr champain needs to resign with the rest of the liberal clowns. Pierre Poilliver for PM
You need to grow a brain!Pierre? You are so naive about Poilievre it is nauseating.
The irony is so many conservatives think Poilievre is for the working middle class and love his rhetoric yet Poilievre with all his rhetoric of simple solutions for complex problems, has no issue with supply side economics and the policies that stemmed from it, which created most of the problems he complains about like that of the housing crisis and price gouging collectively disguised as inflation.
I’m guessing the basic concept of Economics isn’t a requirement for an MP
when the mechanism to become an MP relies solely on winning a popularity contest, the requirement list is quite small, unfortunately
The arrogance on this guy
Force retailers to lower prices what a JOKE. Save Canadian farmers and remove CARBON TAX. When will the liberals and NDP getting the message from Europe NO FARMERS NO FOOD=NO FUTURE. Grocery stores DON"T grow FOOD
Can liberals ministers learn how to answer questions
"You should all be happy"
The day their will start learning how to answer a question, they will ask for a salary raise. They can stay in that stage, useless.
You think Conservative MPs answer questions? They wrote the book on dodging.
You're asking for more than they can give.
@@Arkhanno Facts.
Ask Canadians on the street about Chronic Inflation. They know best.
Walmart’s pricing wasn’t as bad as Loblaws. They should be exempted.
Johnny Bubbles' voice is the sound of a male Karen.
Grocery stores can import more low grade food. When will the memo from Europe come " No FARMERS NO FOOD= NO FUTURE. Canada needs to protect their farmers
we need more competition. not government overreach
No we need government out of business and their managed supply goods. The Liberals control large areas of the groceries products. Why isn’t other counties products allowed to be in Canada? The protectionist ideology of these Liberals is disputing.
Please come and tell that to the Smith government in Alberta
Capitalism works in the economic structures of an economy created by government. We used to have structures that reduced the formation of monopolistic outfits like Loblaws, and the tools to divest them if they arose.
Walmart and Costco are an American company...they can easily just move down back to the states and still be ahead
we go to buffalo regularly its official food is double the price HERE
Argh i hate his voice 😂
He sounds like a cartoon character!
I thought it was voluntary??
He did not answer a single question, he never answers questions ⁉️ whats the point of inviting him on the new!
Typical Liberal politician.
This is the only government with out accountability
The right thing to do is call an election
😂 Bro is acting like it was his government’s pressure that made them do it when it was clearly after a boatload of consumer’s began steering clear of Loblaws stores
The answer is no……
Sorry but in Edmonton the lowest prices are from Loblaws so that is where I shop. Get Sobeys and Save-on to lower their prices.
Depends on the brand here. Oddly enough. Both Loblaws..one cheap..one expensive.
@@stoneneils Save on, prices up, quality down.
The lowest prices in Edmonton are NOT from loblaws…. That’s the most insane thing I’ve ever read.
Why there? In Ontario they’re not even competitive
Costco and Walmart have not been the problem, if anything this government's going to end up making them more expensive as well
Buy new refrigerators for the rest and they will sign like Loblaws😂
Wait I thought JT said he loved the free market?
Walmart is a monster
100 %
In the words of Arthur Irving- employees are just numbers to me
Weasel.
Costco is a private member group - Ottawa your membership has been cancelled.
What if the truckers boycott Ottawa like they did in New York. Grocery stores don't grow food like Jagmeet claimessNO FARMERS NO FOOD=NO FUTURE
This particular grocery
All products are exorbitant prices. Other groceries stores are slightly different.
Difference between 1O to 15 cents.
Who do you blame ?
I go to whole sale grocery stores every day .
But price not much difference
Yes they are. I have Loblaw Provigo and Loblaws Maxis..four blocks away..Maxis is 30-50% cheaper on almost everything. Provigo the same weight beef is so expensive its actually kind of funny.
@@stoneneils "Loblaws owns No Frills and Maxi, Sobeys owns FreshCo, and Metro owns Food Basics and Super C," googled
@@stoneneils
Loblaws owns Provigo.
He won't answer a specific question. He is a total waste of time.
and the grocery cartel continues with gov't support. This guy is as slippery as they come.
And that's why there is no competition in canada - it hurts the big guys a little bit but it kills the little guy.
Thanks to supply-side economics, inflation no longer squeezes big corporations and the biggest companies, but does to small businesses, which experience the pressure of competing during inflation. No wonder we have an economy where the small guy has to mitigate the lack of real capitalistic competition. Such is the realty when we see Canada having a distorted and pernicious form of competition because it has primarily an economy of monopolistic power that exploits a population, rather than serving it.
He was totally toasted. I wonder how a conduct can be voluntary?!
We need a Little Mao Book app
Why can’t our Parliamentarians answer questions directly 😢? The question on making EVs deals public was never answered
who would trust Chicawa Francois Champagne
Just would not answer the question, he must be a politician.
For too long now …
It makes sense the top dog will sign an agreement that’s how mobs work
He said this won't lead to lower prices 🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂
What a d o u c h e
Honda is the last auto maker who has no north american ev yet. But he is saying the biggest deal from. A bogus company
Why do they get such liers on this show ?
still waiting since last thanksgiving still waiting hes full of hot air total liar
Layoff government employees and Ban unions.
I am still boycotting Loblaws and affiliates, until the end of the month...
Same! 🙌🏼
Count on Trudeau to drive Costco and Walmart out of Canada. Maybe then Canadians can rethink voting liberal next time.
Such nonsense, these prices aren’t the stores doing, they are Trudeau’s doing
That’s nonsense
This is the nature of capitalism.
Inflation: to inflate this includes groceries, profits and in turn government tax revenue. Its 100% the government. This is them trying to push culpability. Use your brain @expfcwintergreenv2.02
@@piku5637you mean inflation...
@@expfcwintergreenv2.02 What part about the carbon tax being applied at every stop along the supply chain confuses you?
Wawblaws.
Musta got them investors paid up. Simply effn amazing!
how about we make the gas company's do the same thing along with all retail giants the charge 1000 times for the cost of clothes. its not just food companys over charging
