thanks for the insightful video, it's very funny how you say in the beginning that you won't be swatching everything and then go on basically swatching pretty much everything ^^ loved that
The elf blush and highlight duo also doesn't work for my skin tone so I tried it as a luminous bronzer and quite liked it. I swirled my brush in both shades and it gave a very light glow. I'm not a fan of shimmer on my face so I don't use it super often but it is fun once in a while.
Thanks so much for your comment! I hadn’t thought to try that duo in the way you’re describing! I’ll definitely give that a go. Like you, I’m not for a shimmery bronzer but it would be pretty for the summer
Ohhh I actually love the tinted hydrator from wet n wild! I just find that it sits well on my skin everytime and doesn’t move around here in Louisiana but isn’t super heavy either. Like you said very versatile. I rotate between it my nars and bareminerals tinted moisturizers.
I wish I was better at declutter if I am actually terrible ahaha I might just have to do a collection video for my channel ahaha! I’ve just found your channel and I cannot wait to see more from you xx
The Nyx lip oil has become my new absolute favorite item ever. My only complaint is inconsistency in quality. My first clear bottle was absolutely mind blowing but my second clear and pink shade weren’t quite as great. I also noticed it goes cloudy in the bottle after a couple uses but think it’s just from air being pushed into the bottle with the giant applicator they chose (at least that’s what I prefer to think instead of an ineffective preservative system- ewww! I’d love to know if you have had the same thing happen. Great video by the way 💜, a new subscriber.
hi , i am afraid i cannot use Elf products anymore , i bought all the range of skin care and ended up in hospital with a major reaction for two days , thinking it was only the skin care i tried the a makeup item and yes another major reaction so i am afraid elf products are out of the window for me now sadly . thinking i would save some money , but no i have returned to my high end products and now i am fine
That is WILD. That’s the first time I’m hearing this! I’d definitely stay away from them if they cause such a severe reaction. Were you able to make an appointment with a dermatologist? They are able to test specific ingredients in cosmetics that can cause a reaction on you! I’m thinking about it myself
yes it was a shock , it was scary it was touch and go wether i needed to go to I TU , it was that severe , but i didnt think for a moment about a brow pencil would cause the same reaction , but i am fine now as long as i stay away from Elf products, but i do keep a special epipen to use which has adrenaline in case i should ever have the same symptoms, but i have gone back to my high end brands and thankfully i am fine. Thank you for your kind thoughts my regards liz x
Thank you for your feedback! Since my channel is just starting up, I am not actually able to invest in something like a microphone! It’s just my phone. Hopefully I soon will be able to, and I hope that my future videos will have better audio quality. I apologize for the inconvenience
*When Decluttering:* Please consider the following to reduce one-time use/waste: I donate new and gently used skincare and cosmetic items & household items to a Women's Victim's Shelter and LGBTQ organizations who are thrilled to receive such things as you are decluttering many can be sanitized. Every local shelter and organization has different policies, just call to inquire. A few places near me happily accept them. I feel there are not enough beauty influencers passing products along to those in need or talking about this concept of helping those in your community or donating them to organizations that will. Thousands of people subscribe to Ipsy, BoxyCharm, FabFitFun and end up with unwanted/unused, swatched once products. Organizations like *Project Beauty Share* will gladly sterilize and donate used cosmetics and skin care to women and families who need help to have been displaced, have escaped violent situations, are experiencing poverty, or other barriers in life that have a direct impact on their well-being, hope, and dignity. Creams can last far longer than the printed "expiration" date which is only a guide and a way to perpetuate you spending money again. You can revive them with Inglot Duraline Give them away to friends, family, in order to re-home them to give perfectly usable product a fighting chance before ending up in a landfill. You can give them away via Nextdoor, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Depop, Glou Beauty, OfferUp, etc, all are perfectly acceptable. People like me would happily come pick them up! Mascara Wands: *Wands for Wildlife* is in need of used mascara wands help save wild animals. The organization collects, cleans, and distributes the wands to wildlife services in need. The wands are then used for animal care. They remove debris, bugs, and eggs from fur. Please consider inquiring with your local women's shelters and look up the above, use your voice to spread awareness. At the very least, they can be used as pigments because that's what makeup is: for artists, kids, etc. It's a medium of color to be used, not to end up in a landfill. You could even compost it when removed from the packaging. Example: Powdered formulas last indefinitely. So long as it doesn't smell and the product is performing, it's good to use. They can be sanitized with a spray of 70% alcohol or UV light. Those dates sometimes relate to break down but more often they relate to getting rid of perfectly usable product so you feel like you need to purchase again. It's how the industry ensures profit. It depends on the product. Use common sense. For those who want to live by what manufacturers tell you, there is also a container icon with an M and a number, which means once you open it, the guide is to use the product within for example 12M (12 months). Add a sticker to when you open it. Pencils can be sharpened to unused, clean product, etc. Pump bottles can be re-used for other things. Stickers can be removed from glass bottles and these containers can be re-used. Some thrift stores, churches, and organizations gladly accept gently used cosmetics and skincare and people like me can find some amazing products this way If the product is new enough or untouched enough, you can even make money on selling it via Poshmark, Glambot, Ebay, Mercari, Reddit MakeupExchange, YouFromMe, etc. (Content creators are often obligated to not resell however.) Plenty of people are always looking for discontinued and current products. Nordstrom's project "BEAUTYCYCLE" accepts the following: HAIR CARE: Empty bottles, tubes and caps from shampoo, conditioner and styling products SKIN CARE: Empty bottles, tubes and dispensers from cleansers, toners and moisturizers MAKEUP: Empty tubes, tubs, pans, palettes and twist-up containers from all cosmetics SAMPLES: Trial-size tubes and vials, excluding perfume It would be wonderful to see a trend of every content creator each making a dedicated video and short to educate the public on these options. There is an excellent video on using what you have titled "Stop buying make-up! | Project Pan update!" with Charlotte Rebecca. @HannahLouisePoston is also extremely thoughtful about what to keep, buy, and not give in to. Lastly there is the “Pact Collective”. Visit their website to find drop-off bin locations like *ULTA, Caliray, Saie, Westman Atelier, Fenty, rms beauty, Sephora, and so many more*. Many cosmetic companies are part of this group to help you find a collection bin to discard Pact-accepted empties. Don’t have access to a bin? Send your empties back through their mail-back program. Please spread the word! You can revive drying cream products with Inglot Duraline. Just one drop overnight will bring it back to life.
Thank you so much for all these helpful resources! I definitely agree with your points! I only trashed makeup that was clearly expired ( years beyond expiry!) and the rest will be passed on for others to use. I also love to do thorough research before purchasing products so I don’t usually waste much. Side note, I love Hannah Louise! :-)

It definitely makes a pretty eye look as a combo especially for traveling.

Thanks for your input! I love it’s versatility. It’s so interesting how certain products work for certain people. I don’t vibe much with the NARS one!
@@MariaIKhan It can be a little slippery Ive noticed! Makeup is so personal and I love that 💕
You should get shade matched at Sephora or a department store.
Great video & declutter ❤️🔥
