You are referring to high-density cultivation. It is also being done in Pakistan. In ultra-high-density cultivation, up to 800 plants per acre can be cultivated. In Pakistan, the focus is on planting olives in non-agriculture land which is usually of no use.

میں نے دو سال قبل بارانی یونیورسٹی تحقیقی اِدارہ سے مختلف اقسام کے زیتون کے پودے لا کر سمندری میں اپنے باغ میں لگائے ان تین ورائٹیز میں سے صرف ایک ورائٹی کامیاب ھو سکی اور اسکے چھ پودے تیزی سے بڑھ تھے ھیں جبکہ دوسری قسموں کے پودے ابھی تک ھرے بھرے ھونے کے باوجود بڑھوتری نہیں کر پا رھے۔اس سے ثابت ھوا کہ ہر علاقے کیلئے مخصوص ورائٹی ھی کامیاب ھے ۔
