Leaf is underrated overall. I absolutely love their Ultimate Hockey line. So many legends.

Dude that Anthony Davis is so awesome. Would love to have that card. I opened so much of that Prizm when it first came out and was only trying to collect the golds /10. Now even the star player base from that year sell for insane amounts!

Crazy RCs can be found more commonly in the earlier 2010s. Trout Bowman stuff is known to pop up. Have pulled Magic/Bird/Irving RC, Gretzky OPC RC 7, Harper Bowman RC myself.
Good luck finding the older Leaf best of though.

I have collected baseball cards since i was a kid. I wish i didn't stop collecting as i got older but i still buy packs or boxes from time to time. I am glad Topps still puts Bo Jackson and Griffey in their sets. I have started getting singles of players i liked getting cards of or i would trade for on video games. Like, Mickey Tettleton or Dean Palmer.
I can only find one @245$ a box... is that right? Cool box idea. But, I don't see the value.
As someone who just grabs Julio Jones and a few rookies of Alabama Alumni, the Tua was nice to see. I hope once the pro uniforms come out his colligate cards are more reasonable to get.

That Anthony Davis is a First Year Prizm, (rookie) if so first Prizm of AD! 600 +/- 100! Old stuff is decent. Bo n Troy is nice?
Bo Jackson and Anthony Davis cards were sweet. I have heard this product is really football heavy. Keep that in mind if you break more. Appreciate your vids.

I focus mostly on baseball and hockey. Really loving that stuff this year. This Leaf product is really cool though it's hard to get that stuff up here in Canada.

There was some nice diversity in those boxes. I think I'd go with the Maris as my favorite because I love anything vintage. I am a bit wary for those "non certified" autos though, but that's just my preference. The Barkley card was sweet as well. I don't know if the boxes are worth the price tag. It feels like you will overpay a bunch in the hopes of getting lucky for a *really* special card that's worth a ton. So you spend a ton to get a really good card, but in the end you barely break even financially. But oh well, it was still a fun product to see.
Really enjoyed these breaks Phil. You should do more. From a watcher you never know exactly what you might see come out. The topps saphire breaks were pretty predictable.
I just looked up those Valiant Stars cards and like I thought, especially the soccer cards, those things are monsters! Especially those low-numbered once... It's funny how you are so rich and you pull such top quality product that all of these cards that are worth a few hundred dollars you just pass over like they're nothing but us regular people would just kill for them
Amazing case. Especially the football. It is a tough call but I would say my favorite pull is the Judge, but Aikman, Barkley, Bo, Maris and McCaffrey are all a close second.
The Davis is the only one you made money on. What a gamble to buy these boxes. One good out of a case.
The Maris is a really nice autograph to pull. $500 at least. Nice going!

Manon Rheaume is the first technical girl hockey player/goalie in the nhl but she only played an exhibition game soooooooooo ya know 🤷♂️
While she didnt do insanely well, it should also be mentioned that she played professional hockey (IHL and ECHL) for 5 years following the NHL exhibition games.

You're correct, no RC logos on 12-13 Prizm. So no RC logos for Davis, Kawhi, Damian Lillard, etc. that year.

WOW!!!! Those are some sweet vintage pulls!!!You should check out Leaf In the game used sports. They have a multisport thats really nice with low numbers but also have a baseball, hockey and football. Like around $150 a box. 5 cards per pack.

Ive opened one of these, i actually bought a spot in a break from steel city of this, and i hit a Bryce Harper transcendent /25. Was a nice hit... i like buy back products, this was ok, i give it a 7/10...

Disappointed in ya Phil! LOL Manon was actually the first female to play in the NHL for... your Tampa Bay Lightning. She also won 2 cups with their affiliate IHL team... Atlanta Knights! ATL KNIGHTS is what made this southern guy LOVE hockey. Which was the start of my hockey career which lasted through college and juniors. Thanks for the blast from the past! And a little trivia for ya in the future! Lol good stuff!🤷🏼♂️👍🏻🙋🏼♂️
