To each their own on their beliefs but I haven’t seen anything in terms of multiple peer reviewed studies that says they were in fact real genuine NHI. I’m certainly hopeful but still a bit skeptical until those studies happen.

Stalactites form at different speeds. To interpret the age of those in the 2x2 tunnel one would need to have a geologist or mineralogist investigate.

I saw similar tunnels in other structures and supposedly they are for water management and I can imagine that must be specially important for mountainous areas

@@cosmicroadi think the cover up the access points to keep out animals and such. Hidden may be the wrong term to use. They would have coved the access points back when the made the water tunnels. Still intresting adds to the architecture and is a widow in to the past.

Rate of stalactite growth is certainly an important measure of age, BUT . . . I suspect rate varies depending on various factors, not least the type of stalactite. I'd want to know a lot more before I accept a highly dubious figure like 1mm per hundred years.

Stalactites vary in growth rate but the mean accepted rate of growth is about 1cm/10years. Not 100 years. That said, stalactites are not the best means of dating man made or non-natural tunnels as one can’t be certain when water first began seeping through the tunnel. That said, archeologists do tend to be very conservative in their estimates.

When you take into account the Nazca lines, the tunnel you mention here and some of the other “out of place” artefacts and places you get in Peru, something is definitely up.
Failing that I’d love to see you do a collaboration video with someone else who is also looking at the case!
A summary of all the facts would really be great. So no one could still say "maybe they are dolls" or similar nonsense. There are no "dolls" with a fetus and osmium implants for God's sake.

It's just a very strict diet, and also extends beyond food. No violent movies, ideally lots of meditation, that sort of thing. It's a purification thing before the retreat.
