Honestly though, who takes their time to get that good at human shielding? Lmao
IWANTFRXNDS
All the good that got him. A fucking expressway ticket to a horrific multidimensional dismemberment.

Really like how Morty jumped in to attack a guy that was strong enough to break Rick’s leg with a single step, no hesitation whatsoever. He still got owned but...

The tickets please guy also being someone playing the life simulator. Wow. That is the kind of thing that makes this show worth it.
It's even weirder when you think of how the story of him playing the video game exists only for the sake of discontinuity.
@@keyansheppard8391 he was never actually playing the simulator game, the “tickets please guy” is the real him. He hallucinated having a daughter and grandkid while in space.
You can observe in this very video that he was never playing “that” simulator game, just one that had the same basic external hardware. The simulator he’s playing is explicitly labeled as “Tickets Please”
@@EarleTKG so the whole scene with the torso spinning around endless spraying blood in that building was all just part of a hallucination? I need to rewatch this episode lol, I thought it was real.

Amazons version has uncensored audio
Tbh the bleeps can sometimes make it sound even funnier
Whenever the ticket guy says “Tickets please” it is way too much of a trip within itself so I hope they don’t censor that at least
Collin Loring true. I love actually hearing them swear but sometimes it’s funnier with the bleeps
I think the question is will HBO Max have this show uncensored.
Morty is turning into kind of a badass as this series progresses.
Morty will become rick. Also Rick uses megaseeds for his super intelligence.
after dealing with all sorts of freaky adventures, you bet your a$$ his turning into a bada$$

“When I create shit it works. It’s called being talented.” We should all aspire to have Rick’s level of confidence
Morty: "Jesus! The tickets please guy is cut!"

I love how angry some of the fans got with the ending. Like no one expected Rick and Morty to troll their fans. Just so GOOD.
I don't know what's funnier -- the use of the word "cumgutters", or the idea of how/why *Morty* would know it! (But thank you Rick and Morty team, that was a new word for me and I love it.)
I don't even think I heard of that word before this episode.
@@Underworlddream Right?? Delightful surprises all around. Another new word I learned today was "Callipygian" (which, yes, is a word in English) -- it means to have a nice, well-shaped ass. You use it by saying that a person is "callipygian", and you can describe their ass as "callipygous". So, if your perfect date is a callipygian workaholic with cumgutters, you might be aiming really high!
That is SO disrespectful to people like me. . .

My favorite part about all of this is how his name is just "Tickets Please Guy".
0:47 i just love Rick s reaction to Tickets Please Guy s jacked body
Jesus, what were the writers on this time because this episode happened three times where one dude rips his shirt just to show how jacked up he is
Brian Kao One of them being Jesus fucking Christ.
The rule of threes
Comedy comes in threes!
Boring
In the interview about the episode the creators discuss how they fear an old guy ripping their shirt off just to show they’ve been preparing their whole lives just to kick your ass.
I love how inconsistent Rick’s power is. One episode, if you touch him with negative intent, you just die. He can instantly kill whomever he likes without a thought. Next episode, a mildly talented fighter can beat him up and he threatens to kick your shin.
I mean, you have to have a-
He was inside a simulation (or worse, an anthology) and was being forced to obey the laws of the simulation.
Lmao you can't beat a buff dude who ripped his closed off to show how cut he is. That's law.
I have to say that this was well worth the wait, and I appreciate every little detail and aspect of this show.
I love season 4. My new favorite season. I guess some people just aren't intelligent enough to understand it.

Well, it's all about being a meta-prop you can find anywhere. Think of this episode as an add, and what you can do with it.
Every characters are a prop you can change to whoever you want, and you can make them, do whatever you want.
They are all toys that thinks they are real (yeah, the producers have a twisted humor), and they all lives adventures imagined by the toy-players.
The many layers of meta, is also a response to fans who just loves to points out what they can't let go and what could happen in the following seasons, considering the many cliffhangers that happened (phoenix-person, mr. poopybutthole, the inhabitants of the Morty-Citadelle, etc...).
@@Juliet-Belcouleur whaat? You just confused me even yo Lol

This episode was one of the single most insane and clever episodes of television I have ever seen. This and the snake episode are two of the best R&M episodes ever and they're back to back. Insane quality I hope continues.
Ben W what made it so insane and clever?
@@j-boy7923 The meta narrative and the way it's constructed is incredibly clever, plus I didn't know what was going to happen which is rare for television as normally I have some idea of the direction it's going.
I agree. I feel like everybody who doesn't like the new episodes just doesn't wanna like them... I love how the creators just do their thing and don't really care about their toxic fanbase
@Dcvbkyrsscbgdsxcgf agree. This was a boring one.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
I love how this is the absolute best and absolute worst episode at the same time.
Greg Wycliffe IKR I’ve seen some people praising this episode as a genius return to form and others saying it’s the worst episode they’ve ever seen 😂
@@Mooncupcake83 that's my hope! That this was their way of saying the first half of season 4 (which sucked) was random one off stories, maybe even taking place on the train. But as a meta thing they filled this episode with more random one off crappy stories, making it a crappy episode itself.
If that's the case I will be happy if they return to form from now on.
@@ravenstarver1360 The first half of season 4 was amazing, especially episode 1, are you all on crack?
@@ravenstarver1360 They spend the whole episode mocking the idea of the show as some great epic, and you think it means they're gonna stop doing random one off stories ?
It makes me laugh alot. Doesn’t mean it was the best or the worst. And I don’t really care. Just enjoying it.
Look at that, Tara Strong finally ended up voicing Morty if even for a little bit.
Okay, the more I rewatch the episode, the more I pick up on things that flew over my head upon first watch
Thats what i like about rick and morty u miss alot of things so that when u rewatch the episode u realise u almost missed 25% of dialogue. It reminds me of the old simpsons. U know, the good seasons.

This was by far the most confusing Rick and Morty episode ever aired
They all are but still good
It's the new trash writers trying to say that "everything and nothing is canon!", as an excuse for being so bad at writing that they're crashing the whole show.
This is just such garbage now.
This whole episode was boredom.
@Ghost_ Slaayer it's not supposed to be like that. The first 2 seasons had continuity and some main plot.
3rd season was a shit show, like 1 or 2 good episodes. Season 4 hasn't had a good ep yet, no comedy value at all, and won't have any unless the last ep is good.

Keep it up boys, no need for deep canon episodes when you can get this high of quality content un canonically.
This episode made me gave up on Rick and Morty canon but it has open my eyes for so much more
J. Busch It’s one of my favorites for how aware it is and for how fast paced it is. I’m glad the writers are going to continue writing how they want.
J. Busch Why? The canon is actually pretty simple to follow if you pay attention.
