I remember camping as bringing a tent, sleeping bag, Coleman lantern, one of those travel bbq grills and fishing poles with bait and coolers full of food, in case fishing did not go well😂, and drinks. We usually camped at lakes of Minnesota or near beaches. His high-tech gears and accompaniments makes for awesome glamping. 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I love watching this glamping show. Makes me wish I were there too 😊
He’s advertising the equipment and showing the amount of space there is and so on. I quite liked this video and I’m sure it would take no time at all to set up with helping hands. If you’re going to be somewhere for a few days or so then this would be ideal for a family.

To say this is overkill is an understatement. And the fact that all that equipment could probably buy a nice small trailer- Couldn’t imagine what that set up costs. Would I do the same thing, however? Absolutely. Good for you, great looking camp!
I think for me personally, all the set up and then the pack up would just sap all the fun out of the trip - especially the dark cloud constantly over my head knowing I’ll have to pack all that back up. Looks space age though.
Eaxactly - and the price of all that kit - how much would you re-use to get the value out of it over the years before it brakes, degrades or gets lost? Sooner buy a Dacia 4x4 and stay and a warm air bnb up the road each night!
@@ajwest3081 I was actually just implying that I’d go for an easier to set up rig. If the guy wanted to camp in something that big, there are heap of single pole tents & bell tents that erect & disassemble in only a few minutes. I personally have a 23zero Outback 1550 swag that literally sets up in under 4 minutes and it already has all my bedding already in it rolled up. So all I’ve got to do is fold out my chair & get a coffee going & I’m done!
When you first got there, the sounds reminded me of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. Very weird and interesting. Love that tent. Wow That is a winner. This video I liked very much. I like them all, some more than others. Thank You.

It's quite a bit of work getting everything all set up, then tearing it all down, as well as all the other preparations. Maybe a tow-camper would be easier.

I love this set up but one thing is bothering me. The back tailgate stays open so will turning off the inside lights save your battery? Is there a backup battery? Enquiring minds want to know! 😊
I’m asking because they make a tent for my 2014 Honda Pilot, which I TOTALLY LOVE! 9 years old and only 75K miles on her! The last model with so much space in the cargo area! I could camp with all of the seats down but, come on, is that really camping? Also, it’s much more affordable than to replace tires (about a Grand) and brakes (no $$$ clue) on my inherited Ford F-150 then add a $15K - $20K slide on camper! So $300.00 vs $20K+? I’ll take the tent! 😄
On our Grand Cherokee all lights turn off after 5min. when the doors stay open. When a door sensor is triggered they turn on again. And you can turn them on individually by hand (like normal when driving) Just test it out on you Pilot - might be the same.
