here we can use paper and blow air on paper to see how much air is applied during blowing.
depending on air blown we can see paper deflects accordingly then we can practice same technique on conch shell.
During conch shell blowing we need to blow air with vibrating lips .

Sound is different for shankha depending on size and inside air passage.
Sound of shankh depends on air passage inside shankh , if shankh is small sharp sound is produced and if big shankh there then loud sound is produced.
In nut and shell if diametrical length measured over shankh middle portion must be 14 inch and more then loud sound is produced.
But when you buy shankh from anywhere check quality and sound and then buy shankh.

Sir which type of shankh is best for long blowing and smooth sound

Very important during shankh buying is inside surface must be smooth which we can't see because of closed cavity so we must check sound of shankh by blowing shankh and select shankh.
For long blowing and smooth preferably 8 inch and more long is better but always check Quality and sound and then buy shankh.
Some times less than 8 inch length also blow smooth so depends on inside air passage so better to check and take sound.
Also blowing hole must be correct for air to pass if too less more pressure required if too large air passes easily so can't blow longer time.

No don't do such experiment with shankh.
Method of blowing shankh determines shankh sound if you need soothing sound little low pressure required compared to Normal blowing and it comes thru practice.
