- Something very special lined up today. Today we're going to open an Ultimate Masters Box!
I wanted to do something off the menu, something I don't get to open very often. Ultimate Masters is a set I really like and though it's been hit really hard by the reprint bug, I still think it's a very good set. I also have never opened one for myself. Spoiler Alert... this box was nuts!

You know… after the video I had the same thought. Like what if this box was opened prior to all the reprints. Snapcaster is still super relevant. It wouldn’t have been the most valuable topper at the time but still top 5 for sure. Plus all the other top end Mythics and Rares….
Spoke that Tomb into existence, very nice! Pretty wild to think back when Rudy was opening these on a nearly daily basis I'd ever be nostalgic for these openings...but here we are. This set is just so amazing fun to watch, and with boxes like these sure amazing to open. Man, just when I thought it was over, BLAMO, box topper just capped off one of the best boxes cracked! Mega congrats, thanks for the opening for sure!
Not all boxes go the way you want but this box brought all the goodies. It is funny how Ultimate Masters seems like absolute ages ago.

Ultimate masters is easilt my favorite masters set
I haven’t had the chance to open much ultimate masters. It was such a strong set and predated the start of my channel so it was really expensive and thus I haven’t opened much. But it was a really experience that I enjoyed. Plus the box was awesome. 😏

Yeah this box was wild… it took me 367 boxes to get the right one on film but we got there! 😂

It definitely was the beginning of the flashy Era this set was so hype when it came out people were selling the sealed toppers for triple digits
I was just coming back to MTG… I vaguely recall how big Ultimate Masters was. The set was stacked and the toppers were mind blowing.

Thanks very much! Crazy good box. Ultimate Masters is weird because it’s a stacked set but it has seen almost all of the biggest hits get reprinted in the last year so many of the singles are down. It does lean on the success or failure of the box topper a bit. All that said… still a lot of juice, lot of playables, and super fun to open.

I wish my boxes where that good. I love seeing old boxes and I was planning to buy one around 3 years ago but I heard double masters came out so I bought that and the box wasn't the best. Anyways that was one hella of a box
Double Masters is a very strong set but, like any box, they can be brutal if you don’t get the right hits. This Ultimate Masters box was much better than I could have imagined. Lol

I actually hit a tomb of yawgmoth box topper 3 years ago. Couldn't believe the price.

These just aren't financially worththr price box.
Nice hit on your topper!! Even with the price reduction these boxes are tough. I knew that going in. The topper is baked into the value so you can have a pretty good box but whiff on the topper and still come up short. The variance on the topper makes it pretty high risk. But it’s a fun ride!
