This is Bhavani Ashtakam written by Shri Adi Shankaracharya. The hymn is offered to the Mother Goddess in a state of complete devotion and surrender.

The repetitive chants of "Gathisthwam Gathisthwam Twameka Bhavani" literally translates to "You alone are my refuge, You alone are my Refuge, O Mother Bhavani"
.
The bhaav of the hymn is that the reciter is like a small, helpless baby who is dependent on his mother for everything; and who knows nobody else but his mother.
