i have a very difficult time in believing this branch of thought of hinduism, Especially when somebody starts sounding christian(talking about god world and demon world) or greek beliefs(gods get stronger/weaker from how much they are worshiped) if they are gods, then who are brahma,vishnu and mahesh and do their powers also become stronger/weaker in accordance with their followers???????? It sounds really shallow.
I remember another podcast where the guest talked about how devs and asurs might just be two different races having an inter planetary conflict that somehow got our world involved, there was no devs are good and asurs are demons, that is a lot more in tune with hindu belief.
Yeah. I also confused by this. Sometimes, I think this is a fake but there's no other source for reliable info as well.
Keep everything aside and start reading Vedanta as it is the root of a Hinduism and world religion. In Vedanta there is a Advaita Vedanta. You can watch Swami Sarvpriyananada intro lectures on Vedanta. Slowly you will not need to read any puran or etc..
