Other than the obviously amazing mechanics I think the one thing that definitely set this kid a part was his cerebral gameplay. He seems to be thinking two steps ahead of everybody when he's playing the game it's like a chess master playing an amateur. Doesn't seem to get phased or nervous and seems to always know what he's going to do next.
Those top players always get to that point where they don't have to think about the little things that most players have to think about Non-Stop.

Meh rank 1 doesnt mean anything tbh you can just camp it out and get placement. Sure he’s a good player but if you‘ve reached the pro skill cieling or are close to it you cant do anything but play for placement, 50/50 other pros playing your luck or just abuse other players who‘s life is not fortnite 24/7.
There 100% are some absolutely cracked casual players that play for maybe 1-3hrs per day that you have never and will never hear of simply because they dedicate this chapter in their life to something useful. Sorry to be so harsh here but its the truth.
