I felt sorry for Susan. Had to euthanise her mum, cheated on numerous times, cancer, blindness, insomnia. You get the feeling whenever they needed a story and couldn't think of anything they just put Susan through the ringer! 😂
Kudos to Jackie Woodburn fantastic performance, brilliant actress and a beautiful woman back in the day. This was without doubt Neighbours at its peak!
This was never an affair and got blown out of proportion. I agree that Karl should have been upfront about it all but he never had an affair with Sarah. It would have been better if they had had an affair as it would have made the aftermath easier to understand.
I think the line that got me was when he said they discussed it and decided not to take it any further, like he actually thought about it and as Susan said, he left her out of that discussion. That’s betrayal pure and simple, in fact some might say abuse because he withheld the Information she needed to make a choice about their future and discussed that instead with Sarah.
