Hey Lily! Just a suggestion have you thought about doing a pet emergency or annual savings fund for the dogs? Maybe setting $500-$1000 aside for their annuals could maybe help in the future. Also maybe see if your vet has health plans where you pay a monthly fee and it covers dentals, vaccines, blood work etc.
Hi love! Thank you💛 that’s definitely an idea, I’d just need to save for it really slowly because it’s simply not in the budget right now. I wish I had done this earlier, but I really can’t afford to pay up front for vet bills at this point. And my particular vet’s office doesn’t offer that, I’ve asked🥲 maybe I’ll start one and save for a year or so from now!

Do you have a traveling pet service near you? It saves so much on their vaccinations!
There are some!! But they take months to get into and aren’t really very reliable. I’m a MJAOR planner and need to make appointments well in advance or I get anxious hahahha

I have one, but it’s really loud on camera so I try not to use it too much! There are plenty of cuts in the video from where I’m sitting on the floor in front of the fan hahaha

What happened to pup #5??
He is living with my parents! One of their little dogs (they had 4 before he came) fell in love with him, and they are best friends. He loves being outside and there he can be outside basically all day. I swear he turned into a different dog the moment he moved there, he’s so happy, and Kai (the one we kept at our house) came out of his shell once he left. It couldn’t have worked out better💛 and they see each other every Sunday!
You should get pet insurance, it helps a lot, everything should be included except grooming
Is it worth it?? I pay interest free for the care credit for 6 months. I can’t imagine paying less than $100 a month to cover everything w 4 dogs, and any more wouldn’t make sense w my budget.
Depending on where you look, I had insurance through petco for my dog awhile ago and it was very affordable. Most of his meds were free or very discounted.
Do you have pet insurance? Also because you have so much in utilities maybe take 100 and put it in home emergency 😊
Omg that’s actually a good idea!! I’ll probably move some money around💛 and we do not have pet insurance currently! Never seemed worth it to pay monthly, I can’t imagine it covering everything??
