Hype in itself will never go away to people who like good sneakers. It effected resell. As brands like Adidas, Asics and New Balance gain new momentum, even Vans, Nike/Jordan lost a bit of their marketshare. Yes, due to inflation etc. worldwide also the Sneaker market reacts of course. The "golden" years during the pandemic may cool down a bit, but that goes for everything in life. Just think of other good examples like GPU's for PC's or the PS5. Same with sneakers, it cools down a bit. But even when Nike/Jordan lost a bit of their dominance (look at the prices of Jordan 1 for example), other brands profit. In the summer of 2023 you'd probably see 10 to 20 people a day wearing Panda Dunks. That shifted to things like Adidas Campus - as one of the best examples I think. Reseller/Bots don't make it that hard anymore to buy sneakers for retail or not to complete nonsense prices. That's cool. This year I grabed a lot of good releases from eigher SNKRS or Foot Locker online (at least here in Germany). Stuff still sells out, maybe not within a minute or a few, but during time. That's my experience. And as I said, people still and will always love sneakers. It's just the resell market that cools off - which is cool! I think even for reseller markets like Ramses, as they can buy stuff cheaper compared to before, so the financial risk is not that extrem to lose money. The balance gets shifted into a healthier direction. Been yesterday to the store in Arnhem, super cool, great store and staff, prices seem fair. Will definetely come back a lot of times. As I want to go for the Jordan 4 Fear Pack next week, it was hard yesterday not to buy a pair. But next time. ;)

Dacht dat de sneaker markt momenteel op z'n gat lag. Hype op sneakers is weg.
Hype op sneakers is echt totaal niet weg😂😂
Hype is totaal niet weg alleen is het veel meer andere merken. Asics, adidas campus etc. Mensen kopen liever 3-4 goedkoop paar dan 1 duur paar j4
