Wow,this is just wicked man.Why on earth this group didn,t go far.The album was just packed with so much lush instrumentry and great vocals and lyrics. The singer Gee Morris was a looker too.Big up to the UK for out of the box creativity.
This is what music should be about. Every song on this c.d is a classic. Late 80's right up to brit-pop that's when music was great Now the music it's a load of mince apart from may-be 1 or 2 good songs per year. God I'm so glad that I was growing up when we had absolutely fantastic music to grow up with.
lost this cd but hearing this now yes very good and bringing back those lovely young days that sometimes we must not forget life is just passing us by so quick so sit back and relax no stress and enjoy life at it best thank you TH-cam I will always be thankful for these and other tunes you play thank you all and peace out there
I loved this group when they first came out years ago . . . .altho Natural thing is my favourite track, I just bought a used copy of BELIEF on eBay .. .£2.97 !!! Hell yeah, can't wait to listen to that in the Jag, to the person who posted this music video . . Thank you for 're igniting a forgotten fire
Classic with a capital C! Still got the album and the 12" of most, if not all the singles. I got a ticket to see them live at Band On The Wall in 1990 and it still stands out today as one of the best small venue concerts ive ever been to! Top tune - how ironic - "remember the days" - these WERE the days! Wicked upload man like the mix with the extra sax, not got this mix, so again, thanks for sharing.
I had the vinyl album when "Belief" was released. I remember thinking how underrated as an album it was at the time. "Natural Thing" and "Silent Voice" were really popular with everyone from deep house to soul to pop fans and went quite big in the charts, but nearly everyone left Innocence there. Belief made a short impression in the album charts and then disappeared. I'm realising I think I've even underrated it. Even now, for British soul - dance, it is a classic and must be vastly underrated in the history of British soul - dance, soul - jazz or whatever you want to call this. Giles Peterson doesn't reference this classic too much, but it is a classic.
I remember at the time this cd came out back in the day. I had a sports car that had t tops, and i took them off and just drove all around and listened to music all day long. And was perfectly happy in my own little world.
I will never ever get rid of this CD, fantastic to hear again , will get mine out now and play loud on headphones in the dark dreammmmmmmm , they just don't make music like this any more , love it , ,,,brings back so many good memories
Wow just want to say a big sout out to all the brodway massive miss the party's and hood tracks we lived of this music Haha peace and love to all the mosside Hume fallowfield thanks for the memory's and RIP to all the boys that have passed there is not money of us left lads keep the fath only for the head strong 😎👆
Haven't heard this one in many years! Somewhere in my vinyl collection, I still have a 12" of this. I definitely remember the day(s) when I spun acid jazz tracks in the club.
Thanx for uploading. This CD single STAYED in my CD player for quite some time. The original was classic, the ambient mix sad and somber, and yet this mix of the exact same song feels fresh yet nostalgic. Gee's vocals are top notch on this track and I defy anyone to let that jazzy instrumental segment beginning at 4:54 play only once. I always have to hear it at least 4 or 5 times each listen.

Together with Hardcastle and Jackie Graham producing Kiss the Sky this is on a par and probably the best two albums of that era.simply magical
true say with the duet.. ultimate partnership in the era.. I remember "living for you".. tuuuunnneee
exactly. But i d add also the Chimes with Pauline Henry as a vocalist.
Still one of the old school bangers
