Balatack Returns

Balatack (Chōjin Sentai Baratakku, Superhuman Squadron Barattack). Where we grew up, we knew his as Balatak. One of my favorites as a child because he is very easy to draw on paper.
Balatack has been missing for quite a while. Recovery mission to find and reactivate the massive robot begins.

Wish they would revive this into a series or movie. With all the hightech gadgetries I believe it would be a hit. Yes, before the Transformers and Voltron. There is another robot hero that entered the scene during 1978-80s. Love that anime.❤❤❤

제미있게봤죠 다세대 집에살때 이웃집이랑 나눠서 봤던 비디오죠 80년도당시 100엔 렌탈이었죠 1000원요

先日、DVD全巻購入したんです。
最終回のサブタイトルがバラタックと言う作品が如何なる作風かを語っている気がしました。
曰く、「終わりでーす！」

バラタックの右手の設定を勘違いしてますね。右手はドリルに見えますが、ただの槍です。ドリルアームは別にあります。

手塚治虫先生の原作だと思い込んでた覚えがあります。

キャラデザ原案と漫画原作の池原しげと先生は、手塚プロダクションで､
手塚治虫先生のアシスタントを一年半ほどしていたそうです。

1977(昭和52年)~1978(昭和53年)です。
当初はエンディングは放映されませんでした。
オープニングは水木一郎さん、エンディングは堀江美都子さん他、
メインキャストに、三ツ矢雄二､水島裕､石丸博也､つかせのりこ､潘恵子､
古谷徹､永井一郎､大塚周夫､肝付兼太､野田圭一､山口奈々､田の中勇の各氏が起用された、なかなか豪華な布陣でした。
ストーリーは、かなりコメディ色が強かったですね。好きでしたけど…😅

玩具の宣材映像としてもテイを成してない無意味無価値な代物。せめてジーグ・ガキーンに続くマグネロボ第三弾らしく磁力関節合体を魅せるとか、超人戦隊らしくサイキック能力を強い絆で描くとか、敵爬虫類大塚周夫永井一郎両氏の漫画みたいに楽しいやりとりを描くとかして欲しい！本当に日本語版オリジナル本編を知らない外人さんだからリスペクト出来ないのでは？
