Word of advice, that flight glitch for flying bosses will almost always happen. It works the same for the Wither too. I assume it's cuz flying bosses are designed to try and stay above the player, so if you fly up to it, it will continue to ascend to stay above you, because you're below it, it doesn't have a reason to go down, so it will just stay up in the air forever, unless you make it go high enough it despawns.
