I love story time with Aavak, never fails to make me laugh.
So when I was younger, I used to go to summer Dance camp at a boarding school in Ojai, California. (Home of the bionic woman if you ever watched that show. I may be showing my age here.) The building that we stayed in had no heating or air conditioning, but they were fireplaces throughout. We didn’t like fires in them because it was summer in Ojai, California, and it was flipping hot. That part of So Cal isn’t quite desert, the actual biome type is called “high chaparral”, but either way in summer it’s stupidly hot for being so close to the coast. It was clear however that students who lived at the school during the school year, that is to say in the winter when it gets relatively cold up there in the foothills, were allowed to have fires in the fireplace. And next to each fireplace was a piece of rebar to act as a poker. The rebar was folded on one end into a triangle, which we assumed was intended to use as a handle of sorts, but it was very clear that the students who were charged with tending the fires and were using the handle end in the actual fire. Because, burned into the cheap, low pile , synthetic fiber carpet near most of the fireplaces were a number of initials clearly having used the flat end of the triangle on the rebar.
On the topic of vanishing waste Terry Pratchett had a similar part in one of his books. In this case hey were disposing of the waste into a mini black hole that was a two way portal. They didn’t care where the other end connected until they found out it was located in the attic.
Aavak, at the very least, learned a charm spell or two in school. How else is he so charming? :3

Hmm. An ex-adventurer who is now a janitor? I think I can see why they're demoralized. And the clumsy trait probably has something to do with why they're no longer an adventurer.

Regarding where vanished objects go in Harry Potter, the canon answer (as revealed in Deathly Hallows) is "Into non-being, which is to say, everything." This suggests that Vanished objects cease to exist, until they are re-conjured.
I'm sure I saw someone (Nook?) showing this game off some years ago, but it was in 2D (or maybe 2+D).. was that an earlier version or a different game?
If vampire students are only awake during the night, d'you have night classes they can attend, or will they never learn anything? I assume all teaching is done during the day..? That being said, having a vampire janitor may well be useful?
Nope, Teaching is done at all hours, just stops when the teacher gets tired.

I have to say I am not quite sure what the problem is with having a "Racist" NEGATIVE trait in a game... its not like the game pretends its a good thing, its a 100% negative trait without any positive effects
I mean most of Slytherin in HP were Racist. They saw Muggles and 'Mud-bloods' as inferior.

But in THIS game, it wasnt portrayed as a quality.
(And pretty sure in HP too the Slytherin are kinda portrayed as the bad guys, so the argument holds up there too)
Agreed. Since bullies in this game seem like equal-opportunity jerks, and since the game doesn't seem to have issue with making traits that actually are offensive (e.g. deaf trait makes them learn slower despite how common it is, and it doesn't get any logical upsides, such as being immune to the Chatty student debuff, even though some other negative traits have upsides) or dark (e.g. orphan trait), and since students and teachers can be explicitly evil, and since the term "bullying" in the real life is sometimes used for referring to some pretty horrific stuff, I'm guessing the devs changed the name just to make it more accurate to how the trait worked rather than to make it less offensive or whatever. But who knows, not sure if they blogged about it or anything.
All the traits are needed for special futures.
Slow is for zombies
Worker is for Librarians
Every trait in the game has a use so if you know what your doing you can easily make any future in the game.
Having a house with ambitious and popular, 2 temporal 3 herbalism will give you Naturalists quite easy as both positive traits are needed.
There is many ways yo manipulate the traits to suit your playstyle with items and room upgrades you can add or remove many traits.
Upgrading the prison and turning on an upgrade to remove bully may make your school run better, but will prevent you from certain special futures.
This game is really complex and if you are quite knowlegable you could pump out unstoppable amounts of certain futures and stack certain bonuses.
Its quite possible to produce 25 angels quite quickly, giving all students a +50% chance of having chosen of the light.
Reputation, guniea pig speed so many diff ways to play.
