He heals because of dragon ring (read fandom if you want to know more bc im too lazy to explain). He has more than 150 hp because of maxed soul tree (I think) and corrupted necklace of vitality +2 (it gives a lot of hp)
Solo is faster because you can plan every move easly without wasting time for others to move and if you need time to think or go afk you can because solo turns are infinite. Also all loot goes to you.
