Welcome back to another episode of Southern Ethos Life: This week, we wanted to kick off our series where we share one of our favorite tools that we carry on every camping journey and have at the campsite.
In this video we talk about our Alvantor pop up tent, it is so easy to set up and take down. We have enjoyed this tent for the past 2 years, so much so we purchased a second for friends and family who may join us on our RV journeys.

You did a great demonstration. I ordered the 6x6 and it should be here tomorrow. Im by myself and like eating and sitting outside protected from the sun and darn mosquitos. Im pretty sure I will order a second one as well just for back up. Thank you for a great demo. Happy camping to you both.

Love the honest review. It was not available for the longest time. Is the screen no-seem needing or just plain mosquitos. I find the no- seem is too thigh & there’s not that much of a breeze.

Thanknyou for the video. We're tent camping saving for an RV. We have Gazelle popup tent but didn't want something as heavy for an eating/chilling spot. Love that this has a floor included.
I love that this folds flat as well. We're not looking to have a Taj Mahal while camping but this would fit our needs.
Love seeing similar campers. (Sooooo tired of hearing that 'we' don't camp. Camping is for anyone who wants to)

I have a 12x12 that a I am waiting to use on our first family camping trip. I am going to see if I can find a rain fly for it because Florida always has afternoon thunderstorms in the summer. Thanks for the video

Do you think it would be possible to pick this up and place it over a hot tub after assembly? Looking to add some privacy around our hot tub, while in use, but don’t want a permanent fixture,
Depends on the size of your hot tub. The tent is offered in a lot of different sizes that should work for you. Hope this helps and your vision comes to life.

Thinking of buying one but it doesnt look like it protects you from sun... does that one panel come with it or is that seperate?

Are they waterproof?
No. This version is not waterproof. I believe they sell a bubble version. You may want to check one out.
what size do you like the most?
10x10 has been what we have purchased and found it works best for us. Hope you enjoy yours ❤️.
Reggie you did not say if you cooked inside it I realize you need to cook in the middle to not start a fire or melt the screen. Especially if it is really buggy outside
Hey Suzie. I don't cook in our tent for the exact reason you stated. I usually will spray down with bug spray and cook away from the tent. We use a charcoal grill, so the smoke usually keeps the insects away. Be safe and have a great week.
Can you bbq in this?
I would HIGHLY suggest you don't 😉. Just enjoy the breeze and mosquito free environment it provides. Enjoy!!!
It doesn’t look like it has any sun protection to protect you from the sun or shade you from the sun?? There doesn’t seem to be any privacy for when you and your partner or family want privacy.
I noticed that if you did want privacy then you’d have to purchase the screens separately and it’ll likely cost way more as there’s a few “windows”
Yes, you are correct. We use it more for the screen protection from flying insects and bugs. The privacy shades would be an additional cost.
