The breaking scene in Korea is so irregular right now. There aren't many young guns and most of the crews are going through many changes because of their members becoming old. HOWEVER, the veterans are still in shape, and it's amazing how they maintain their level or even keep evolving (which causes some immense gap beetwen the elite and most of the other bboys).
Rush has never been better, he doesn't stop imporivng and he is 34, what a beast. Leon is at his prime, he is probably the best bboy at Korea right now with Zooty Zoot. Kill and Heady have improved their blowups so much that they dont feel like blowups or risking moves anymore. Jinjo's new generation (Soma, Kazino, Javelin, Big Shot, Lilky, etc) is also really good.
I hope that these veterans become active internacionally again, since they are in their best form and they might not have much years left.
Crews like baseus and wild could be on the top too, if given some time. Plus, cay crew has been training their own set of young guns as well. but yeah, it would be better if there were more.
It's interesting because it's almost the opposite of Japan where they've done such a good job of cultivating incredible young talent
@@odhorizon I think Vero is like 36 or 37. Rush is 34. Zooty (27) and Heady (29) are avtually Young tho, but they are veterans too.

@@legraid4851 There's mix of reasons. There was a Korean competition show for bboys few months ago, and thus there was a small popularity increase for bboying again. I think the teams that joined (Gamblers, Fusion MC, Flow XL, Rivers, etc.) are busy doing promotions and competitions in Korea to ride on popularity and also entice younger Korean kids to try bboying (Korea bboy scene has been declining for the past 10 years, so there are very few young bboys right now, and as many might've noticed, not a big improvement compared to other countries coming up). Also the fact that since there wasn't a big growth, I don't think Korean bboys are being invited as much, or even disqualifying in prelims in big competitions (ex: outbreak, IBE 2022). Some of better members are also in national-sponsored team, and likely doesn't have much time to go international competitions either. Hopefully the scene/quality grows again so more Korean bboys/bgirls compete in bigger events to comeback strong
FlowXL went to WBC, and Cho, Dol and Ashes went to undisputed and legits blast. better than nothing at all tbf
@@hotpotato7537 yep, and thats an improvement tbh, last time flow xl went in 2019 they failed to get past prelim, and i dont recall seeing much other than ogs (wing & hong10). They only did decently in boty. Wishing the Korean bboys the best

Modern Skillz shoulda won. Rush is good, but so overrated. He is more athletic than anything flavor related.
He isnt overrated, and the reason Gamblerz won is due to his chemistry with his crewmates, espevially Tazo who has a super flavour and refined style
because the team on the left DOES NOT DANCE TO THE RHYTHM OF THE MUSIC EVER? None of them do it, a lot of gym choreography but dancing what is little dancing, in Korea they have been guilty of this for many years, their style is deaf because they do not hear the music to dance to the rhythm.
