@@liminalb1rds158 agree to disagree haha the song didn't really need drums in the first place. but if you really consider putting drums, the last part is the ONLY place you should put it. Because it resolves the tension that has been building up to the last chorus, resulting in a much more satisfying ending. Using drums throughout the whole song will take away the emotion because it will be so repetitive, taking away that satisfying resolution at the end. but by only using the drums at the ending further accentuates the emotion. Hence this is just perfect for the song.

@@matthewmelegrito19 true, there’s nothing wrong with this argument, though personally listening to this remix, I just felt it was lacking quite a bit of drum for this to sound “natural” if you get me. For example, “Happier than ever” by Billie Eilish, you can see how well the instrumental have been put together near the end of the song, drums and guitar,etc being built slowly and then BAM full-on chaos. But hey, I may just be weird and this is just how I find a song “good” lol.
Drums added so many layers to how I’m feeling about this song. It unlocked new feelings.

Drummers don't wanna mess with timing or pacing unless given the opportunity to go all out. Instead, they reinforce it and make it stronger, no matter how simple.

The simplicity of the added drums actually added more depth into this song both emotionally and musically. A perfect example of how something simple can actually trigger a huge response to the brain

This is a rare occasion on which I prefer a remix over the original song, the drums at the end makes the song hit harder and in the original I was expecting drums to come in somewhere but they didn't
The original version portrays regrets and depression for an ended relationship and saying "maybe one day we could be together again" while holding back tears
But when the drums hit, it felt more impactful like saying "omfg please take me back" while bawling
The drums help build that crescendo at the end of the song so well it explodes with so much emotion I love it, thank you
As a drummer, this was simple yet impactful. Less is more and this is a good example. Amazing job adding drums this is beautiful💜

The drums kind of fill the void of all the noises my brain expects to hear from the crazy music video.
The drums were placed in the perfect place,i honeslty don't know why they did'nt make the real song this way to begin with

This is something I would like for this song in a live setting. Other than that I think the studio version is perfect the way it is. But like I said, if this song was performed live, I would like to hear it like this. Very well done without changing the song too much.
