What's the difference between realism, photorealism and hyperrealism?

    I'm not sure what the point of photorealism is, you've already got the photograph.

      Great thought and question! I believe it's the joy of being able to paint or draw exactly as a photograph. So instead of just pressing a button and voila, you get a photograph. This you would spend many many hours making it by hand with paint or colored pencils or any other medium you'd like. It's a personal preference. Some people really love the process of the craft of creating something extremely photographic with their own hands. I hope this answers your question!
