After I got into brushed motors my money flies away=) My new optima mid with 12turn triple LRP fusion is a beast. No temp issues at all. 19t pinnion. It beats my brushless cars.
@@VUO4E valid point, but to me it’s just not about how they are built, but if I like them or not, thinking about how they look, perform and history, that’s why I’m keeping them.
@@OddArneBjrklundRC Don't get me wrong, I haven't thrown the others out... When I look at a Kyosho Mega 12X2 vs a LRP 15X4 etc, they only interest me because of the specific performance of the winds but honestly, the exterior is just generic. I have an Orion Evolution and a couple of Dyna 02H and they have performance and looks. IMO, the 02H is a real diamond because I can't think of any other 540 motor with a housing as special as that.
🙂 i understand what you are saying. I agree about the dynatech motor, it is a real gem. There is one other Tamiya motor that I can’t remember the name of, it’s the one that has a housing looking to be made I layers. I’m pretty sure I have one but I can’t find it anyplace.
You know how I feel about shelf Queens same goes for the motors. Lol
hehehe, yeah.... they are made to be used.

Hehehehe... Cool.. That is a nice motor... Sounds like it's super fast... No temp issue, wow... What kind of battery do you use?
@@OddArneBjrklundRC I use a 4000mah 50C 'stick pack', made to fit cars like tamiya that cant use regular brick lipos without mods.
That is true. Using lipo on brushless motors is quite fun.
Awesome!
Thanks, glad you liked it 🤩
IMO, only the Dynatech 02H and the Orion Evolution are worth keeping IMO, because they're built differently.

You should get a tachometer. There are cheap ones. It would be a series of great videos with tons of views!
Great idea 🤩 I will see what I can do..
I got to find out the specs for your motors and I want to see your whole car collection
Lol.
😊 that would have been cool.... at the moment my whole car collection is not available, due to moving house. Video to come soon.
Very nice motor collection. What parts are you 3D printing and will you be doing a video to show them and the car they are for?
Thanks, glad to hear that you liked it 🤩 I'm printing the Badger, and yeah I will try to make a video of it.
I have the GT tuned motor in my hornet.
Cool, thats why it's kicking a## 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You know they have an n version of the Kona now I think it's going to have 275 horsepower.
Yeah, I saw that, about 70hp more than in my electric Kona.
CONRAD????? That is an AYK
Nope, that is a Conrad motor. Just Google Conrad 240826
