I’ve heart that Nike fly by mid 3 is the best outdoor shoes you can get on the market no matter the prices if that’s true it can only be right getting them for the amount you pay
I have them...I'm a shifty 143 lb shooting guard. If you play regularly outdoors and go hard putting lots of stopping force and hard strikes to the outdoor surface you are going to burn through the rubber sole in 2 months or so. I just got the Fly By Mid 3 and there's some outsole wear after the first 4 times I've worn them. This is normal. I played outdoors in the Puma RS Dreamer "Proto" new straight out of the box in July and the outsole is bald like a race car tire slick..That was a $130 shoe. Doesn't matter if your hooping aggressively and going game speed for scrimmages/trainings etc. The hoop shoe is not going to last long term outdoors..no matter what make and model you are wearing. * Off Topic: My bald and worn on court RS dreamer looks great tho even with all the wear..I have a friend who showed me how he cleans his sneakers (works in the industry that sells shoe cleaning products/kits). So I consider myself meticulous now after doing this for the past 3 years. If I'm using a machine wash method and proper products to clean my kicks properly. I cleaned them like pro and they look perfect for a casual shoe to wear now that they are clean and now that I have the Fly By Mid 3 to use for a while.
Been playing in these for a while now. Can say that it’s traction and cushion are top tier. The traction is super durable for outdoors and the shoe feels super light. If I have to really complain abt something then it’s gotta be the lateral containment, but it’s not super serious. Overall a must cop shoe for pure performance 💯
My overall experience, its also good with volleyball, its light and cushioning is suprisingly good, traction is hella good bite both indoors and outdoors. I would wear these over other high grade shoes
I tried them on tthey felt flat and slow if you are a spiker i think, puma triple feel like a better option and addidas own the game also a better option for volleyball
This or precision 5 for outdoors? The flyby is a little cheaper where I'm from. Im mainly a guard so I tend to rip and flatten my outsoles real quick(current pair is kd trey8 whose outsole flattened on the sides in just around a month)
I've been using these shoes for outdoors since the first model. I was shocked how the looks changed. I'm looking forward to trying this pair.
i hope you like it!
Bro these good for outdoor play?
