I’ve gone to multiple concerts, movies and dinners by myself. I’ve gone to more stuff with friends than I have alone, but I never miss out on something I want to do just cuz no one else can/wants to/has money.

There are plenty of things I do alone, but moviegoing is one experience where I want someone to go with me because I like being able to talk about it afterwards. It's not the same to know that one friend saw a film and there's that sense of "I can't tell you what happens because you just need to see it first, and then you'll get it."
I don't really think any of them fit great as 'female Cheesy', but if I had to pick I would say Em is the closest. All of them are hilarious, but Berry was more insane, Kara is more serious, and Em more in-between.
It is actually accurate to sign into someone's hand if they're both deaf and blind. What the mom was probably doing was finger spelling everything, since it was just into the child's hand. It's fascinating to see someone signing as they normally would, and the other person is holding on to their hands so they can sense what the other person is saying. There was a speaker in my ASL class who actually relied on such a thing. We all introduced ourselves by signing our names into his hand, and at the end he had his hand on the table and we all knocked on it for applause. We also saw a documentary about a married couple who were both deaf and blind when they met each other, and they had even gone on teaching classes to help those who are both deaf and blind to be able to live independently

The topic of going to movies alone being such a long conversation is weird to me. I've been doing it for decades and I love it. The few times I see them with other people, it's my 2nd time seeing it, the first was alone, usually on release day.
Even though the games showed Mario s as a baby, we know storks didn’t deliver Mario to his bio parents. I never really thought about how he and Luigi ended up in mushroom kingdom and why Peach is the princess. Many questions in that movie were answered I think no one would’ve really thought to ask!
Pawn Stars definitely rips people off, but also the stuff you see being pawned is already stuff they hold. It's basically a commercial for their business.

They lied to millions of fans who read Star Wars before they took over and made up their own story that doesn’t even make sense. Example: a ship cannot zoom through a Star ship and destroy it, otherwise the war would’ve ended from episode 3! 2nd: there is only 2 Sith Lords, never a third unless one is secretly planning to betray, hence: the rule of two! And Luke faced the two most powerful Siths and overcame the darkness, but instead Disney made him a punk who was scared to help his own nephew who hadn’t even changed to the dark side yet. They straight up ignored the books and for some reason thought it was bright to lie to fans claiming the books do not exist even though you can find them in school libraries, books a million, and Barnes and nobles. They threw out George Lucas Script that was already prepared for them that would cover 3 episodes and claimed he never gave them his work for the movies
So for the pool one it’s actually really easy to win as solo, as soon as your character hits the surface you can dive back down, alway change up the direction you swim as soon as the bubbles show up, I have yet to lose as solo in the pool
The Mario movie was fun, but it had much less story than even your average animated movie. It was more of a collection of action and comedy scenes than a proper film. It kind of gets hard to rate then, do you rate it high because it works to entertain children and let adults have some member berries? Or do you rate it low because it’s story telling is basically just paper clips and bubble gum used to tie some cool scenes together. Ultimately I can ignore its flaws because I enjoy Mario. If you used this plot for a new IP though, the movie would have been a very shallow experience that only young children would probably enjoy.
Ok, I like em, but she's very wrong about zip lines being ok once you've tried them once even if you are scared of heights. I'm terrified of heights. Complete phobia. I know it makes no sense at the level I have it, and it is still there. I've been on a zip line. A large course that had more than one stop. I hated it. It was terrifying and awful and I almost got stuck once out of sheer terror. I would not ever do it again, and having done it before made that chance lower, not higher.
