Hi Sam, I already have a playlist uploaded for Defender for M365: th-cam.com/play/PL5oyXP-xEiGBikCRSqn_vfEXVHhsp8nHi.html Please let me know if you want me to add something in this playlist.
@@Office365Concepts ok watched it was good, what about M365 Compliance topics like DLP, Sensitivity labels, Insider Information protection, Data lifecycle management detailed videos?
Hi Roshan, we publish 2 CNAME records because 1 record is used as private key to digitally sign emails and the second record is used by the recipient server as a public key to validate the signatures.
We are adding the cname records in the public DNS but who is actually signing here, who is adding the attributes to the message headers, outgoing server? When v r adding the record in DNS then how come the server is stamping the signature?
Hi Gaurav, yes after publishing the CNAME records under your public DNS, you need to come back to Office 365 Admin > Security > Threats and Policy > DKIM and enable it for the particular domain! You can also enable this using PowerShell.
Thank you for the explanation. I am getting an error “error in retrieving encrypted key” while running the command Rotate-DkimSigningConfig -Keysize 2048 -identity
Very well explained - Can you please confirm is there is any down time to emails while upgrading the key? and is it possible to roll back to 1024 in case 2048 don't work for some reason? Thank you
