First ever Nascar race and we dont watch or follow on TV, sitting in the Stewart Grandstand up 32 rows. Great view and a lot of fun to watch. Was rooting for Ross to keep the lead but he finished 4th anyways. The move Chris put on at the end and final corner to take the W was awesome! Def be going back and hopefully find time to go to a different track as well.
That is awesome!! Checkout Pocono if you want to go to another race! Pocono is a fun track and in North East PA! My girlfriend and I were at the Glen as well, frontstretch 37 rows up. What a race and a day!!
After seeing all of the chaos in this race, Watkins Glen absolutely deserves to be in the playoffs! I hope to see them return to the round of 16 in 2026.

About 2am New Zealand time I very briefly tuned into the free onboard stream from SVG's car when he popped himself into 1st, I had no idea it was close to the end of the race and I switched off to go to sleep, wish I had stayed up 1 minute longer!

shoutout to chase briscoe. Came in at the bottom of 16 facing elimination. Ended 2 spots above the cut line, most points by any playoff driver all day. Guys a wheelman and i hope that 14 is fast the rest of the season. Calling it now, without wrecks briscoe is easy in the round of 8
A reminder America that Bathurst 2024 is on 10th October. Always worth a look and the race many Aussies and Kiwis cut their teeth on. 1000 Kilometers (same length as the great Wall of China I think) with racing similar to this with Mustangs V Camaro's. It's slower now that they've stopped using Australian made cars😮😅
For his standard the fact that your actually cheering about a top 20 finish is pretty embarrassing as so is most of his season this year, terrible lunch
I must say, after watching V8 supercars and then having to watch this ;it was hard watching, no one stays inside the track I’ve never seen a series where u can overtake outside the track

Leigh Diffiey has been calling races for a long time. He's called NASCAR road races on NBC before. He mostly does IndyCar and F1 though.

Lucky enough to live an hour from it. The area is gorgeous too. Definitely worth a trip if you’ve never been there

Buescher executed a textbook perfect bump-and-run entering the carousel on the last lap. That clip should be used as the picture-perfect example.
