It’s some show, pure brilliance, and has brought tears to my eyes,,, knowing we no longer have the greatest banjo player,,, u were the man in full flight lad, god rest u, I’ll never forget u in my lifetime,,, 👏👏👏🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️☘️
I had never heard of this band until I saw an announcement by We Banjo 3 on Facebook that Koady Chaisson has died at age 37. I love We Banjo 3 so I knew I would love the East Pointers too, and I am not disappointed. But what a tragedy and terrible loss of a brilliant musician. Condolences to his family and to the band members. May his memory always be a blessing.
In 2019 we were blown away by these guys at the Lyons Folk Festival in Colorado. My favorite group that year. It makes me cry to think about Koady being gone. Strength to you all.
I live locally and the Folks festival is a killer time! We saw We Banjo 3 at the Bluegrass festival this year and were blown away by the vibe the bought to the stage by the band! This is my first time hearing these guys, they’re awesome!
6 Hearts will be playing at the New Orleans Jazzfest on Thursday, May 4 at 12:35 - 1:35 at the Cultural Exchange Pavillion and then again on the Fai-Do-Do Stage at 4:15 to 5:35 pm. I saw the East Pointers back the last time they were at Jazzfest and they blew me away. This will be just as good if not way better. If you're at the Fairgrounds on May 4, DON"T MISS THESE FOLKS!! RIP Koady.
Just like usual, rediscover something to learn that an integral piece is lost forever. May we ever celebrate the spirit of musical zest, in the name of Koady Chaisson.
Just saw them at the 2018 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. I went to see them on a hunch, I never heard them before, right away I knew I was experiencing awesome music. The big difference is they performed outdoors on the Fai Do Do Stage and then about an hour later, indoors in the Cultural Exchange Tent. Neither had much seating so the crowd did what New Orleans crowds do best..... dance like crazy!! Their set was both spiritually and physically uplifting. The New Orleans Jazzfest crowd loved them and they loved us back. I hope they return to South Louisiana soon, if they don't I'll have to go up to Prince Edward Island and catch them there.
There is well beyond the music a bond that exists....that all too rare magic that brings three talented musicians to a place where anything is possible...an adventure that takes with them the audience and listener alike. .....
These guys are soooo talented ! I really love their music and they look awesome on concert. I'd love to see them if they ever come to France or Germany !
