The fact that Onana didn’t really try to dive is probably because he needs to protect himself from getting potentially injured🤔 (basically he just used the opposite foot as the supporting leg to dive and always landed the lower limbs first which is often seen in amateur goalkeepers who are not comfortable at making a real dive so they can somehow protect themselves from landing)
yeah, keepers are not allowed to dive outside practice. Heck even in practice they're not allowed to without their goalkeeping coach agreement.
but well the fact that Onana didn't even dive during matches do not help

I’m really concerned about onana’s diving. From a goalkeeper’s standpoint, his diving is subpar, especially his ability to keep out balls that are nearer to the posts. I know that his distribution creates some chances, but it cannot be at the expense of letting in every single shot that is driven to the side.
