Saw the UK Premiere at EIFF last night, I LOVED it! It’s definitely too bonkers for awards attention, but I would agree the Makeup was outstanding and deserves a nom. Cinematography too
I‘m starting to think the „message“ of this movie isn’t as obvious as everyone thinks it is. Based on what I know about the plot, my interpretation would be a different one.
Oh cool. Well isn’t it great that there’s more than one layer of subtext. Often great movies have multiple ways to viewed/interpeted 😊 what you reckon it’s gonna be about? X

I LOVED Revenge! I cannot wait to see this film!!! I’m a huge cinephile 🤷🏻♂️ (huge is an understatement) I love breaking down films, get into the mind of the writers/directors/characters/story. So much fun.

Would love to see Demi Moore get some award traction for this. An Indie Spirit nod seems likely. Maybe a critic's prize or two.
I’d love that too but once you see the movie and how batshit crazy it is I’m sure you’ll understand why it’s unlikely to get much awards traction. But without doubt its one of her best performances ever

Not everyone understands this film. Just as not everyone understands what even stands behind plastic surgery, dismissing it with a contempt as 'vein and shallow'. I hope the awareness for body dysmorphia issues will increase and people who suffer it will find more understanding and empathy.

I loved Revenge... I am so excited for Carolie Fargeat, that her follow up is being so celebrated!!! CANNOT WAIT to see this in the theater! Mubi better not screw this release up
Knowing the rapturous response to this film I think it’s highly unlikely they wouldn’t go for a theatrical release. People know this is a crowd movie. If it wins a Cannes prize that will only be more incentive to do so 😊
