    That hunting system of scaring the ducks so they dislodge the nets and trap themselves is absolutely brilliant!

    why do people think hunting boomerangs returned, they were straight flying not returning

      Sorry to say but there is 2 boomarang .
      1. Returning boomarang
      2.non returning boomarang
      1st one use for long distance hunting
      2 n one use for birrds hunting mostly flying ..if miss the shot it come back then try again

    Ha, so it's uaed to scare the animal and return to the hunter, not actually harm the animal. Maybe way back when they used these you got points for trick shots.
    "Hey, Ug, you can have the raw liver if you knock it out with on throw"

      If you threw it right and hit it's target 🎯 there's no way it would be able to return . So they did not make them to be that aero dynamic to return of course today there are trick boomerangs and speciality boomerangs. But the original was just a one time throwing weapon that did not return and also a warclub to stun and kill fish or make the final blow to kill an enemy. Thank you so u had to have a red neck from North Carolina who has spent his life watching Malcolm Douglas bush Tucker man Steve Irwin and man elders of the aboriginal people of Australia tell you this . ❤thanks 🙏 but yeah they did not return mate

      Yes the first ones were called Kylie or throwstick and those ones didn't return back

      The ones that didn't return was used to hunt roos the ones that returned wad used to hunt ducks

      You can't identify where it started but you can deduce it was made after the axe

      Valai Thadi as they are known in Tamil. Not sure if you want these to come back as much of these were made from metal - the British tried to ban them in 1809 if I remember correctly.
