It was a great win for the defense. However, Miami the only team Miami beat with a winning record was the Rams, and they didn't have a winning record when they beat them. We all recognize that the Texans offense needs to turn it on in the next few weeks.

Either way their second game is on the road in either Buffalo or KC. The odds of them getting the number two seed are almost none. Whether they get to 3 or the four seed it’s not going to matter, especially if they’re not healthy.

Unfortunately thinking positive is not enough to stop you from getting hurt when you’re playing a physical and brutal sport like football. Especially playing three games in 10 days. So mathematically, the Texans still have a chance to get the number two seed and I think they should play for that until it’s mathematically impossible. After that, I would certainly think about starting to rest guys. Even if that means, just giving them fewer snaps.

The Texans best chance to beat the Ravens or the Chiefs in the playoffs is going to be if they are healthy and if they get hurt playing those teams in a meeting with game then that’s just dumb. And anyone who’s OK with them playing through the season better not get mad if someone does get hurt. Do you wanna play to win a regular season game or do you wanna play to win a playoff game?
To me it really depends on how we play against the Chiefs and how the Ravens and Steelers game look. If we beat the Chiefs I say we try to fight for the third seed. But if we loose and the Ravens win I rather rest our guys the next two games because I rather face the Steelers Broncos and Chargers then a Lamar lead Ravens team so yeah Saturday game is the key

Rest Mixon, I think the offense needs the game time reps to get it going for the playoffs. Rest them and they will really look rusty and off-sync.
