There are quite a lot of excellent interviews with Brandon Mitchell, on several other channels. In case you haven’t seen them, I’ll share a few. There is an Excellent long interview with Brandon broken up into several segments, on the Lindybeige channel. He was also interviewed on Georgijs (from Ukraine Matters) podcast channel, on Mercado Media’s Good Morning Kyiv show (look in MM’s playlists,) on Starsky’s channel, on The Shills (the one with the lime green world image) as well as Starsky, Rick the Ukrainian & others being guests there. Brandon has been on many more podcasts and interview videos. If you search his name you will find them! Well worth listening to his interviews, because he has quite a depth of experience that’s really difficult to condense. 💙✌🏼🇺🇦

I'm so glad Jonathan you've managed to corner Brandon down for an interview. He's just such an amazing voice and window in this war. He's no profound intellect, which he would readily admit, but what he has seen, done, achieved is beyond remarkable. At the same time he speaks so eloquently in honesty on behalf of Ukraine his voice so needs to be heard.
You're both right, the longer this war goes on, the more danger Ukraine is in.
It's almost as if today the west has become a greater danger to Ukraine than Russia?.
Sorry, but I need to remind everyone in Britain and America, we both have a sovereign duty to support Ukraine at all costs because in 1994 we both signed the Budapest memorandum. Ukraine must win !!!. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦.

Appreciate both of your insight and understanding. This is a struggle beyond just this brutal war. Realpolitic led to this. Realpolitic is a completely immoral throwback to the time of the kings. It never evolved. Human rights human suffering humans have no value in it, they do not count. It's enemy is revolution it solidifies control by autocrats and spheres of influence. It does not believe problems can be solved so doesn't try to solve them. It is the opposite of Liberalism, Zelensky is a Liberal. Realpolitic will be the end of us all if it continues.

People tend to forget about the costs. I can't look at a military map anymore and join in the cheers for progress, knowing at what cost it came. And I haven't even lived through war myself. Just from these stories from Brandon and some of his close friends.

Every unit is slightly different, but usually the most you can count on the Ukrainian military to be able to give new guys is weapons, ammo and one uniform. The vast majority of people have to buy everything else they need. If you’re somewhere like a training camp they will usually feed you, some places you might get MREs for out in the trench. Literally everything else you need to buy for yourself, or have a friend/relative send to you. I agree I would love to hear more from Brandon! 💙🙏🏼💛

Write down your thoughts and war experiences, Brandon. They are vivid and memorable, just listening to you. It will become part of Ukraine's history library of this war. Your endearing humility and honesty come through. A very touching account

@@attilamarics3374 What a ridiculous and lame liar. Do you even understand that he’s a Medic, and as such he SAVES LIVES?? He’s even given medical care to some pitifully starved soldiers from your side, once captured.
You can’t even lie well, as anyone who knows Brandon or has even watched a couple of his videos knows that his medical service and civilian evacuation etc has all been from a desire to save lives of noble Ukrainians, in Response to the unjustified & unprovoked invasion of fascist ruSSian nazism! We’ve seen the atrocities and war crimes your people commit, as your Colonial leaders follow the Hitler-Stalin Playbook! PS, those plans don’t lead to a good end.

Ukrainian and Russian are as different as French and Spanish according to the chief interpreter of the US State Department some years ago. She also predicted (1992) that bilingualism would drastically decline in the next generation.

Thank you Jonathan and big thanks to Brandon for your unwavering support Ukraine and the many Courageous Ukrainian people you have helped, it’s truly hard to imagine the terror and horrors these cowardly invaders have put the Ukrainian nation through. We are all Gods children but sadly we see some living in the darkness of evil being educated to hate and fear others through the corrupted regimes for their own cruel evil greed and entitlement. For Humanity to move forward away from this dark evil and stand United and hold Gods light over this darkness for there is no future in wars, aggression and terrorism that these corrupted regimes depend on and work towards a world that finds peace with other nations. We all have Inner Peace within each of us when we seek this and dwell there we will have no need for wars, greed or hate and nations. We as a Humanity must all wake up and move away from the darkness and fear they humans have been conditioned with and look for solutions that recognise everyone’s right to live, be the change you want to see and always walk in your light. Glory to Ukraine holding the light for freedom and the rights of all of humanity 🙏🏻🙏🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🙏🏻🙏

Kissinger quote is precisely correct. The Great Power focus, so inappropriate in other contexts, marks his approach. His doctoral dissertation was on the Council of Vienna where big powers sorted out Europe after fall of Napoleon. Ukraine is very different. About time and war. His frustrations would be seconded be Grant in his memoirs, where his superiors wasted months and extended the war by years by acting too slowly early in the war. “Ask me for anything but time” Napoleon once said.

    Hello Jonathan 👋
A humble and respectful guest who summed it up perfectly when he said there is a way to victory, but the delays (particularly the USA), are narrowing the window of opportunity.
The MAGA republicans who are currently holding up support are not only endangering Europe (and by extension the world) but needlessly costing Ukrainian lives and emboldening dictatorships and terrorist states around the world.
    Slava Ukraini 🇬🇧🇺🇦💛💙

First few moments of the interview and it's obvious UA fights because of love, whereas RU fights for money. You don't have to be a bard to figure out which one of those values is closer to freedom - however simplified this sounds. And I am so pitying the trolls, especially the ones who do that job for free. Saddest job on earth, whatever the pay
