Nice, Steve. All this info from pros like Israetel and Albertz is so valuable and it's free, damn, you're really making this world a better place to lift ;)

    Here’s a small don’t:
Smell like ammonia after a workout. If a person wreaks of ammonia after a workout, the body is catabolizing (eating) it’s muscle to cope. A person might experiment with more food, but if the smells continue, lift a bit less.

Love the podcast, Steve. I often listen while I'm lifting. Making physical gains but mental ones, as well.

Who are the authors you mentioned around the 11:00 mark? Please don't be offended, but I couldn't catch anything other than Eric.

Sure thing, it's the Muscle & Strength Pyramid series by Eric, Andrea and Andy. A new version will be released on the 3rd of January

Hard substantive answers would have been desirable to the first question.

I think saying "I won when not at my best", kind of diminishes other people who compete against you.

Not at his best in his mind. You never really know exactly what the judges are looking for.
