Something unique about the Apple box sound. Soo soo tingly! ✨
Exactly!! They’re perfect for ASMR
They use a thicker cardboard with a luxury feeling texture, which makes for a very nice sound. The boxes are also hollow so that's what makes the tapping sound like tapping on an upside down bowl.
More specifically, they are a matte finish. Samsung, Google and Apple all use the same actual cardboard its the matte finish that gives its feel. Moreover despite being more common in recent times, matte finish is more expensive, in printing that is. With technology and its low profit margains most companies like to cut cost especially in som box that "really" doesnt matter. Furthermore since Apple has a high margain (of profit) not due to smart business but rather loyalty. They have the ability to shell the extra bucks for the "luxury" packaging. Also the idea of the packing of an Apple product was designed to be an "experience" a moment in time that's special. Lastly, that and the ability to afford it, and their loyalty have made the matte packaing of Apple products almost become a trademark in of itself. (Sorry for the ramble).@im_amethyst5206
