I do some photography(profile picture) and appreciate the efforts you put into getting your shots. A friend once said to be a good photographer never be afraid to get on the ground and be ready to be seen as a fool at times.

Next time, leave the touristy Cape town region and take a car to the West Coast. Stay in Doringbaai and do the Olifantsvalei wine route. In particular Klawer cellars and Stoumans winery. Better you wont get.

We’ve been there 3 times in our 3 trips to SA (before we settled down & adopted a little one :) ), amazing place, hotel incredible, Segway amazing fun, staff can’t do enough for you. There is so much to do on site. Thank you for helping us to reminisce about the good times we had there, & glad you got to experience it too. Did you manage enough self control not to buy the chocolate though?! It was delicious! Anyway, I love watching your adventures, keep it up, you guys are brilliant fun x
You guys chose some pretty bad places to stay and eat/wine taste in Stellenbosch/Cape Town. Please please please ask for recommendations if you ever decide to come back here.
What a day! Now that I know you like wine tasting, I would like to add to my recommendation of Trier, Germany that it's on the Mosel River. In my humble opinion the best white wines anywhere!
I have to also tell you where I get my wine when I'm in Germany. I've been going there since the mid 1980s! Weingut Eduard Kroth! You can find it on FB and Trip Advisor. The address is: Moselstrasse 2 56867 Briedel Germany Tel: 49 170 4733079 The 49 at the start is Germany's country code. If you are in Germany you would not include those numbers. I highly recommend them. Eduard is now retired and his kids have taken over. Great tasting and they speak fluent English. I always buy several bottles when I visit. My fav wines by far!
