I I was born in Tibet and my parents send me to India when i was 8 just because we aren’t allowed to learn Tibetan in Tibet and we don’t even have the right to keep Dalai Lama’s photo in Tibet. I mean we can’t even talk about him and we can’t even praise him. I haven’t met my parents since 2008 and it’s 2024. Lost my father in year 2023 and I didn’t even get to met him face to face and tell him how grateful I am. Thank you India for everything. Jai hind

This is not limited to just celebrities; it also involves what people in China are watching and listening to. Is there any anti-China propaganda happening online, on apps, or social media? You can see that the TikTok version in China is completely different from the global version. The government oversees what content is shown to children there, and on Chinese TikTok, you will see the negative aspects of India and other countries, but not of China itself and If a foreigner wants access to major apps in China, they need the help of a Chinese person who has been using that app for over five years. If any incorrect propaganda is spread from that account afterward, the Chinese government will hold the person who provided access accountable.

You should interview Tibetan Activists (Tenzin Tsuendue, Chemi Lhamo) about their lives and struggles as Tibetans & what they can tell you about Tibet + the Tibetan diaspora. We Tibetans are all so grateful to India for welcoming us open arms after the brutal occupation in 1959. There are around 100000 Tibetans living in India, who probably feel more connected to India and Indian society than to tibet, as they have never been allowed to see their own motherland. I think an episode about Tibet would be so interesting to the international audience.

I found this really good movie that CCP, sad to say, successfully shadow banned it. Name is Kundun. It's on TH-cam but for those in India who wants to watch it you have to use VPN (which is dissapointing that our govt also decided to block the movie). The movie is directed by the renowned Martin Scorsese. It accurately captures the essence of Tibetan culture and way of life.
There is also a really good documentary by EPIC, it's on TH-cam for everyone to watch, called His Holiness Dalai Lama - Escape to India.

Tashi Delek and Namaste to 8.13 million subscribers here!
I am Tibetan, born in Tibet and raised in India, shaped by the Indian education system. I have nothing personal to say against this lady with her big mouth’s view, despite her lack of in-depth research and understanding of the Sino-Tibet conflict. After all, ignorance remains ignorance, regardless of the position one takes on Tibet's historical status or the false Chinese narrative surrounding it.
However, Ranveer bro. - @BeerBiceps, given your position as one of India’s leading podcast hosts with millions of subscribers and viewers, it’s disappointing to see such a lack of discernment in verifying your sources. Tibetans have been raising their voices for Tibet from Indian soil since 1959. As an educated young leader of this great nation, you sought authentication of your understanding of the Sino-Tibet conflict from someone deeply influenced by Chinese propaganda-a narrative riddled with distortions about Tibet’s historical status and ongoing struggle. For me, that was the most disheartening aspect of the interview.
To help you elevate your understanding and stand on this issue, I recommend two excellent books authored by non-Tibetans. These authors are not only highly educated but also respected international lawyers. Their works offer a clear and authentic perspective on the Sino-Tibet conflict, illustrating how Tibet has been unjustly frozen under brutal Chinese occupation even as other nations gained independence in the post-colonial era.
I hope you enjoy reading these books and take steps to raise the standard of your research and rectification. In the future, there are many credible and informed personalities you can refer to, rather than relying on individuals who lack a thorough understanding of their own identity and historical background.
    1. “Tibet Brief 20/20” by Michael van Walt van Praag and Miek Boltjes.
“Tibet Brief 20/20” is an incisive and contemporary examination of the Tibet-China conflict, written by Michael van Walt van Praag and Miek Boltjes. The book provides a comprehensive analysis of the historical, legal, and political aspects of Tibet’s struggle for autonomy and the international community’s role in this ongoing issue. The authors present a 20-year roadmap for resolving the conflict, grounded in legal principles and international diplomacy.
    2. “Imperial Games in Tibet” by Dilip Sinha
“Imperial Games in Tibet” by Dilip Sinha offers a thorough exploration of the geopolitical intrigues surrounding Tibet during the height of the British Empire. Sinha delves into the strategic calculations and diplomatic maneuvers of the British, Chinese, and Russian empires as they sought to control or influence Tibet in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

"I am Tibetan, and I feel the deep pain , and countless innocent Tibetan lives were lost. Our culture has always been grounded in compassion and nonviolence, which has led us to respond peacefully even in times of great suffering. Yet, despite the lack of historical evidence supporting such claims, China continues to assert that Tibet has always been a part of its territory. Tibetan history and heritage tell a different story-one where our culture thrived independently, sharing wisdom and spirituality. We long for a peaceful resolution, where our people and culture can be free once again, honoring the truth of our history and the sacrifices made by Tibetans."
This version respects Tibetan values of peace and emphasizes hope for a future of mutual understanding.

This just my limited reading but wasn't Tibet part of Qing Dynasty's rule over Tibet from 1720 to 1912? Modern China claims that all territories that were part of Qing Dynasty (last monarchy that ruled China) should become part of China as well. Interestingly even Mongolia was part of Qing Dynastic rule, but Soviet intervention puts Mongolia as an independent nation. That also explains why ROC i.e. Taiwanese Government now used to claim Mongolia as part of China until it dropped its claim in 2002. Even both PRC and ROC (Taiwan) agreed Tibet is part of China. Please keep in mind that Taiwan is a democratic state with plenty of freedoms unlike the PRC. Let say ROC which is a democratic state ruled mainland China. They still claim that Tibet is part of their territory. Han Chinese whether communist or democratic will never allow Tibet to become an independent nation. It's too strategic and valuable for the security of China. Question is if Mainland China becomes a democratic nation, will the Tibetans change their stance?

I am Tibetan prisoner from Tibet and later from my family they forced me to send to Nepal and later to India because in nepal Chinese authorities were trying to find me and threaten me beause I shout for F-Free Tibet, long live His Holiness the Dalai Lama, need for justice in Tibet. I am staying in INDIA for more than 10 -11 years and I very very grateful for the people and govt of India. India gave refugee to all the Tibetans from 1959 with His holiness, during that time if India didnt help us during that time, all my families and generations will be lost. Thank you India and Nehru for all help till now.
I am not only one fled from Tibet (did anyone or foereginers hears people running away from their own motherland?) There were more than 1000 people fled from Tibet China border to India and other country and more than 500 Tibetan died and killed between borders.
More than 153 Tibetans self Immolated(did you know why? because there is no freedom to learn own language and keep Dalai Lama photo). I know my relatives who have been in prison just because he have small passport photo of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and still he not where to been seen in his country or home)
If u wanna know more, plz I will show u some Tibetan news channel u can check Radio Free Asia, UN freedom house, Tibet Tv, Tibet Times, Voice of Tibet and etc.
Also please read Indian researcher and foreigners writer book on Tibet (dont read Chinese and Tibetan writer). Later read books from Tibetan prisoner and relatives of the prisoner.
No one knows that in Tibet or China, each month more than 2 - 3 Tibetans gets jailed, imprisoned and so forth, here I am in South India and I am commenting in free democracy world.
In future, Ranveer bhai one request- take podcast from Tibetans authorities, TH-camrs and writers and college students and even from school students from Himachal, you will hear a full story how they excape and history of Tibet. If you want more content - go to Himachal and Mcleod Ganj and meet and interact with Tibetan educated young person and take their to podcast.. Surely you willl get all answers then, are you brave enough?

Grabbing this golden opportunity and using your grand platform, I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the Government of India and all the kind and lovely Indian brothers and sisters. And I deeply hurt and sorry to see some negative and disgusting comments sent here in the name of Tibetans and pretending to be Tibetans. But please do not think that all those low lives are real Tibetans, as our enemy has appointed thousands of anti-Tibetans and anti-Indians cyber Armies, who can know several languages and write extremely negative and provocative comments to instigate tensions, hatred, fights, disputes, and enmity between Tibetans, between Tibetans and Indians, between Tibetans and Nepalese, and between Indians and Nepalese. The real Tibetans are not such evil and ungrateful to write such negative comments. And I hope that you understand and are well aware of these things.

@ If you’re a real Tibetan, first study well, educate yourself well, do a thorough analysis and then only write your constructive and meaningful comment. So many Chinese don’t know anything about how China invaded Tibet, Uyghur, Inner Mongolia and they even don’t know anything about 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre of young Chinese students, bcuz CCP government doesn’t let it’s people know about these things and world news. Anyway I still don’t think you’re a real Tibetan. I’m well aware of this fact that there are thousands of CCP agents using Tibetan names, Western names, Indian and Nepali names and so forth to spread CCP’s propagandas and disinformations, and to create fights, riots, turmoils and hatred. extremely dangerous and scary.
If you’re a real Tibetan, plz recommend people to read these books to know Tibetan History : (1) "My Land and My People" by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. (2) “Tibet was never part of China since antiquity” by Prof. Lau, an esteemed Chinese scholar. (3) "Tibet Brief 20/20" by Michael van Walt van Praag.

Coz of CCP invasion in our country they left everything behind n faced many hardship on the way as well my uncle was imprisoned n tortured n tooth were broken. Mayapur, West Bengal ISKCON Temple is also getting a lot of money from "The Ford Foundation" to build the temple.
Because Henry Ford's son found Hinduism very interesting, and later on after reading Bhagvad Geeta he converted from Atheism to Hinduism a.k.a Sanatan Dharma.
Hence, his Ford Foundation has pledged around 400 crores to the ISKCON Temple in Mayapur, West Bengal.

At that time, I was about 6 or 7 years old. I was even the one who would drop off food for my father when he was in the hospital. After he was discharged from the hospital, he became sicker and the next morning, my father died on his bed. Later, two Chinese came and took him out of the house, after which I never saw him again and my mother was not able to tell us what really happened to my father, until I left Tibet. My mother told me what actually happened to my father, When my father left the hospital, they injected him with something, because of this my father died, my mother told me he was freedom fighter that why they killed him. I have seen myself how my father suffered in hospital and before that also, I still remember what he used to wear 😢😢😢😢.... It’s surprising to see some people glorifying authoritarian systems. Chinese apps, for example, are heavily censored, and users can only access content approved by the government. This means that personal data is constantly monitored, and people may feel like they are always being watched. In contrast, Indians have the freedom to access a wide range of information and entertainment without needing VPNs, and they can openly criticize leaders and policies, including the government or Modi, if they choose to. Attempting similar criticism in China could lead to serious consequences due to strict limits on freedom of press and expression. This is something creators like Ranveer should consider carefully before presenting such topics.
If China’s “one child policy” was meant to improve educational access, why is the government shutting down Tibetan schools and pressuring Tibetan parents to send their only children to state-run boarding schools? Many Tibetan parents feel forced to send their children to these institutions, knowing that refusal could limit future opportunities, like university admissions. And the parents have to pay huge fines if they refuse to send their children to these colonial boarding schools. Colonial boarding schools strip children from their families, erase their language, and force them to abandon their culture. They replace heritage with enforced obedience, leaving generations disconnected from their roots and dependent on the state. These schools systematically dismantle identities under the guise of education, leading to a loss of cultural autonomy and self-worth that echoes across generations.
Ranveer should be mindful of the perspectives they bring to their platforms

The Ramayana and Mahabharata have long been debated as either myths, histories, or perhaps a blend of both. Ancient Hindu texts, they recount heroic epics that shape cultural, moral, and spiritual values across India and beyond. Scholars and enthusiasts fall on both sides of the debate, exploring archaeological, geographical, and historical clues to understand their factual basis.
Perspectives on the Ramayana and Mahabharata as Factual Texts
      1. Archaeological and Geographical Evidence:
      • Some landmarks in India align with places mentioned in these texts, such as the ancient city of Ayodhya in the Ramayana and Kurukshetra, where the Mahabharata battle is said to have taken place.
      • The discovery of underwater structures near the modern city of Dwarka, often associated with Krishna, has fueled belief that the Mahabharata might reflect historical events.
      2. Astronomical Evidence:
      • Both epics contain detailed descriptions of planetary alignments, eclipses, and other astronomical events. Some researchers have used this data to approximate dates for the events, although these alignments alone cannot confirm historical accuracy.
      3. Mythology and Symbolism:
      • Many interpret the epics as spiritual allegories, with the characters, battles, and kingdoms representing larger philosophical or moral ideas rather than historical events.
      • The Mahabharata, for example, is often seen as a metaphorical struggle between good and evil within the human psyche, with each character embodying different qualities and dilemmas faced in life.
      4. Historical Interpretations:
      • Some historians propose that the stories could have been based on real events that were later expanded and mythologized over centuries. The societal structures, tools, and cultural references within the texts often resonate with those of ancient India, lending a degree of historical authenticity.
In conclusion, while there’s no definitive proof that the events in Ramayana and Mahabharata happened exactly as written, these epics are an inseparable part of cultural heritage. Many find them valuable not just as stories or records but as ethical, spiritual, and philosophical guides. Whether historical or mythological, their impact transcends these distinctions.

Mary’s story reflects a perspective shaped by the Chinese government's narratives, a common outcome of strict government control over information in China. Many in China grow up with state-approved versions of history and culture, often missing the voices of those affected, like Tibetans who still struggle for basic freedoms. It’s essential to recognize how information is often filtered to align with the government’s viewpoint, especially around sensitive topics like Tibet.

"India conquered and dominated (in good sense) China culturally for 20 centuries without ever having to send a single soldier across her border." `- Hu Shih (Former ambassador of China 🇨🇳 to USA 🇺🇸) This is the level of warmness the two great civilization shared in the past. Hope the aggressor Chinese govt will gain some sense. 😊 ofcourse the whole Chinese civilization and way of life is inspired by ancient Bharatiya civilization. But the now political class is not ready to openly admit it. It hurts their false ego. But Nothing against common Chinese people, atleast they aren't radicals like one of our illegitimate son. Good luck 🤞🏻 But China must stop the brutal atrocities on Tibetan people, Free Tibet 🙏🏻

This podcast explores the differences between Growth and Fixed mindsets among Indians and Chinese. It's one of the best podcasts about India-China that I've watched! I appreciate how Mary and Ranveer openly discussed various topics and challenged stereotypes perpetuated by the media. Both Indians and Chinese have much to learn from each other through this dialogue, broadening our perspectives. Thank you for making this happen, and I look forward to seeing Mary again soon.

Bro that is the thing, he chose the geopolitical angle as it has led to many Tibetans talking about their country and about the invasion. But the fact is that they have pictured it as black and white that she is speaking in such a way, if she speaks something bad about china she will get deported or killed.
But as always, the mindset of black and white is always harmful in the long turn as we are forced to see the one side of it. Instead of using our brains and critical analysis of the situation, which unfortunately we were never taught in the schools.
So I have that from my pov I have successfully conveyed that doing the analysis by yourself is far more better than trusting the internet, society or govt
