Yep! The most heavy mature most talented record playing wise lyrics but like night and day in comparison to original motley with their childish shallow inmature stuff of songs
John Corabi, great vocalist.......his album with Motley Crue is spectacular.......he plays guitar......he leaves his personal mark on every work he participates in.
John is one of the greatest vocalists ever and hes a genuinely good guy as well..been lucky enough to have met him and hung out at a few shows over the years. The guy is pure class. Hope to see him back here in Atlanta soon
Excellent Interview Peter! I absolutely love John Corabi and everything he has done! and commenting on a county album I personally would love a covers album featuring country artists doing John's songs.
Great interview, Peter! You pulled a lot of cool stories from Mr. Corabi. Talk about a “Veteran of the Psychic Wars,” whoa. He’s been there and done that, with multiple acts! Merry Christmas! ~ Davey Cretin, from Cretin Classics.
I went to see Tom Kiefer/Cinderella and Corabi strolled out as the opening act with just an acoustic guitar, talked about his career, and played some songs. He said , "I'm the guy who killed Motley Crue."
Do you think Motley Crue did anything good after Vince Neil’s return to the band? I think Vince Neil had his time in the band, and they should have moved on. What you call ‘the real Motley’ has been a nostalgia trip for the last 30 years. They should have carried on with Corabi instead. Change the name of the band to keep fans like you happy? Sure why not.
John Corabi kicks ass! One of my favorite vocalists ever. The Dead Daisies on the Kiss Kruise were mind blowing ,it is so great they're together again. John explains it all so perfect, all ears here. Awesome interview Peter, Thank you
Saw him with Tom Keifer in Ashland, Ky in July. Got a couple of autographs, his autobiography (which is great), and even got a selfie with him. He was super nice to me, his crew were cool too.
If Motley would have persevered with Corabi they would’ve eventually been much more successful both critically and with real fans. It always takes a while for something new to catch on. The record biz is so short sighted and it’s obvious from what I’ve seen that the self titled ‘94 album is still considered a classic and still sounds great… you can’t say that about very many of their records… be honest 👍💯
Nah.. Crue fans wanted that classic Crue sound and wasn't gonna accept anything new! If they would have released a second album with john, it would have bombed as well and the tour would have flopped.
It works John cause you guys are the best what the he'll can you expect man you guys fit and the music is fantastic stuff so keep going on with it and if you need somebody to work just holler at me buddy
Great interview! Big fan of John since the “Let It Scream” record. The album with Motley is definitely their best, regardless of what the record execs said. Crab is one talented dude.
Hey John Corabi..Just being honest...Union and The Scream are yours.....Total Respect....Just know you were used by The Crue to lure Vince Back to the Band...No one can ever reason with Nikki Sixx unless you're an original band mate...You had your time..Just move on and enjoy the Holiday Hooligans Memories....
Any chance to made interviews with : danny vaughan (tyketto), UDO, Ynwie, Jhon 5, Vinnie Moore, Macalpine,Gilbert,Jhon Sykes, Scott Ghorham from Thin Lizzy, George Lynch, Warren Di Martini ,Pearcy,Croucier,Blotzer (Ratt),Satriani,Vai, Akira Loudness, gary holt exodus, alex from testament, Locicero from Forbidden, , Don Dokken,Mick or Lynch, Lita Ford, Uriah Heep ,Jeff Waters (Annihilator) , Dee Snider, Eddie Ojeda or Jay Jay French(Twisted Sister) - Chris Caffery & Pitrelli (Savatage ,TSO,Spirits of Fire) - ted poley, Rudy Sarzo - Bobby or Ray Fates Warning - Lizzy Borden Holmes from WASP, Armored Saint,Neil Zlozower,Mark Weiss,Def Leppard,Motley, Flotsam,Overkill,Anthrax, etc ?
I met John at a Kiss convention in Indiana and told him personally that that album was the best Motley album and he is a much better vocalist than Vince. Got to see him jam with Eric Singer and Bruce.
No post Corabi Motley Crue album with Vince Meal has sold as much as the eponymous album with John Corabi.... John hands down a better singer/musician than Vince or anyone on Motley Crue
They should have give John Corabi another go with the band. I mean it might take a long time for some fans to catch up and understand how good this guy is, and how great the 1994 album was. They should have released another album with John Corabi instead of the crappy Generation Swine album. That album is among the worst crap I've ever heard (except for the song Glitter).
They never should have gone back to Vince Neil. His time in the band had run its course. People overrate classic or original line ups. As soon as they went back to Vince, Motley was done apart from the nostalgia trip with The Dirt. And Vince’s return was almost 30 years ago now.
It's too bad the Crew album with John didn't take off, as they were all really on top of their gsme, and the album was killer. That album ranks right up there with tbeir other work.
I thought the Scream album was ok but no I never liked him in Motley Crue. Maybe if they called it a different band I may of given it a better chance. But I like the higher screams anyways so I doubt it. Good interview but I wish he would of said why he didn't want to sing Girls, Girls, Girls? Is it a hard song to sing or is it like signing Wingers she's only 17 or what?
And that is where commerce intersects with art - when musicians try to label and re-label themselves or re-fresh themselves in order to create popularity and income. It is - as was said here - more authentic and real when a musician just does what he does and leaves it there. Unfortunately it becomes a catch 22 if an artist wants to get out and tour and gig and at least make some kind of passable living and that is why we don't see more REAL art -
"I don't think about that record.. it was 30 years ago." Meanwhile, The ONLY reason anyone wants to talk to you and that you have some severance of a career, is because of SAID record
Only the original members are motley crue and everyone can see how the other members are look what they did to mick mars they were never really true to one another so this was actually not a surprise
Wish he would clear up why he didnt tour or do anything else with Brides of Destructions. He did great on guitars with Tracii Guns, but he should of been the singer also, that London dude was horrid. Never got a real reason he was sent packing after recording the debut album.
Corabi KILLEDIT with Motley Crue!... Best record they ever made....
A lot of folk would agree.
BS
Yep! The most heavy mature most talented record playing wise lyrics but like night and day in comparison to original motley with their childish shallow inmature stuff of songs
It’s pretty damn good and sounds nothing like the rest of their catalog. It’s basically their response to grunge, but actually made very well.
That album sucked. Boring drop tuning garbage like the rest of the 90s
John Corabi, great vocalist.......his album with Motley Crue is spectacular.......he plays guitar......he leaves his personal mark on every work he participates in.
Motley Crue 94 absolutely rocks! "Hooligans Holiday", "Til Death Do Us Part", "Dropping Like Flies"
Great album
Smoke the Sky
Power to the Music
Loveshine
Misunderstood
Uncle Jack
It's banger after banger
The whole album is perfection
Hammered 🤘
I also enjoyed Quaternary.
His 2 studio albums and the live album he did with UNION are killer. Great singer and great guitar player.🤘🤘
Agree 100%
Crabby is the man. Love Dead Daisies, Love The Scream (I knew Walt), massively love Union and the MC record is hands down their best!!!
He is the man for sure!
John is one of the greatest vocalists ever and hes a genuinely good guy as well..been lucky enough to have met him and hung out at a few shows over the years. The guy is pure class. Hope to see him back here in Atlanta soon
He was a great interviewee!

Thanks Drew. Appreciate your feedback!

Merry Christmas!
~ Davey Cretin, from Cretin Classics.
Thanks Pal. He was such a great interviewee. Merry Christmas to you and the family!
'Let It Scream'-The Scream doesnt have one bad song on it.
Its great for sure!
with john ,best crue record ever
I went to see Tom Kiefer/Cinderella and Corabi strolled out as the opening act with just an acoustic guitar, talked about his career, and played some songs. He said , "I'm the guy who killed Motley Crue."
Lots of folk say exactly that.
@@RockDaydreamNation Lot of non Crue fans say that. I love MC94 but that wasn't Motley Crue
Do you think Motley Crue did anything good after Vince Neil’s return to the band? I think Vince Neil had his time in the band, and they should have moved on. @@jimmycampbell78 Vince is a legend in the rock world but John brought some great vocals and a killer record.

Thanks...He was great to talk to....glad you enjoyed.
Great interview... always love to hear John's honest views!
Thank you!
This interview is confusing. He never says why Vince was standing on his shoulders?
RIGHT???? And he kept saying 300 lbs, we know for sure it’s at least 400!!
Huh?
He was stressed out by not knowing if or when Motley would have Vince come back I assume.
This Ratt talk is EPIC
Thanks Mike. One of the best guests bar none.
Awesome interview!
Many thanks for watching!
Saw him with Tom Keifer in Ashland, Ky in July. Got a couple of autographs, his autobiography (which is great), and even got a selfie with him. He was super nice to me, his crew were cool too.

The CRUE 94 record! ❤
He also made Quarternary EP and Generation Swine with them. How do you rank those?!?!?!?
Fine interview
Thanking you!
Great interview! Big fan of John since the “Let It Scream” record. The album with Motley is definitely their best, regardless of what the record execs said. Crab is one talented dude.
Thanking you!
The Motley '94 album is a banger 🤘
John is a very talented songwriter & musician....and by all accounts a very decent dude!
Indeed he is. Thanks for sharing!
when did he develop a lisp??
New teeth
It's that lip ring in the middle of his bottom lip.
Right????
He should do a Union song besides "Love I don't need it Anymore."
Motley Crue 94 MASTERPIECE - The best Crue album...........

2 this day the Motley Crue album is the best 1 to this day .
Lots of folk would agree with you...

All could be on the radar on 2025....fyi I have interviewed Bob Daisley and John Sinclair from Heep on the channel..

Crazy John didn't like the song Girls,Girls,Girls, that right there is a sign he was not the guy for Motley Crůe
I really wish John would of became Nazareth's new vocalist after our king of rock Dan McCafferty retired
Would have suited the material for sure...

Corabi is leagues better than Vince but most fans aren’t musicians they’re sheeple
