Thank you for joining me :) Since I still don't have a 3Dio, I thought I would test out the new Rode NT1 microphones and see what you think. My most requested videos lately, besides massages, have been whispering, lid capping and pop rock/mouth sounds, so I tried to include all of those things in this video :) I also wanted to show you my new giant mascara wands (bottle cleaners lol) because I know a lot of you enjoy the mascara wand sounds :)
I hope some of you will enjoy this video and feel free to let me know if you like these mics. It was my first time using them and next time I will use them with their dedicated pop filters.
This is a whispered video, so there will be whispering throughout (although I don't talk very much over the sounds) but here are some time stamps;

How are you all doing? :) In this video I'm testing out the Rode NT1 mics for the first time with a little ear to ear whispering, lots of lid capping sounds and some pop rocks! I'm currently trying to get all of my technical issues sorted, so I'm not sure if there will be a video next weekend, but I shall try my best to make one for you :) I hope you have all had a safe and fun Halloween weekend and have fun tomorrow. Hey +La Dolce Vita, it's good to see you but I'm sorry things haven't been so great recently :( Ahh, I had some hair brushing in one of the 3Dio videos that went wrong, but I definitely want to do it again, I love hair brushing sounds. I love the Rodes more than the 3Dio. They pick up the textures of your voice and the sounds more accurately. I'd encourage you to stick with them. God bless you. And thank you for another high quality asmr video.
Just as I was thinking about the mics you mention that they are not binaural. I've just put headphones on (was listening on speakers) and I can say these absolutely blown the 3Dios out of the water for richness and texture. I have reason to believe the actual sensors in the 3Dio are smaller and thus I've noticed that really up close whispering in the ears of it sounds very nice and warm but as the person goes away even a little bit the sound gets tinnier quickly and there is hardly any bass. Not so with these beauties. I also much enjoy the Yeti mic which RaffyTaffy uses and his tapping video gave me the most intense tingles I've ever felt. By the way you just commented on the bass just after I wrote about it. Are you transcendental? Please please have a new video next week, your setup and your skills creates a combination that is seriously too good to be true. Again, God bless you!
Heeey Arun! How have you been? :) I'm glad you like these microphones :) I persoanlly prefer these mics over the 3Dio for this kind of video, but I think the Dio excels at ear massage and ear cleaning type stuff :) I really wanted to have both types of microphone, so I could have the best of both worlds :) I love the Blue Yeti mic too, I've had some of my best tingles from mic brushing with the Yeti! I even thought about buying one just for brushing videos lol. I was actually watching RaffyTaffy doing his tapping just the other night, I wonder if we were watching the same video? :) I will try my best to make a new video next week, anything in particular you'd like to see with these mics? :) ❤️

ASMRMagic Yes to be fair I have experienced a lot of tingles with the 3Dio, esp with HF. I do like mic brushing, but you could try brushing the Rodes before getting a Yeti? I had a Yeti once and it has an omnidirectional setting which I believe RaffyTaffy uses, very powerful. Mm, suggestions for next video, well I enjoy all your triggers because you vary them and make a long video out of them, but my favourites are: "sksksk" left to right, scratching on fabric, mic brushing, finger/nail tapping, and sweet sucking. I feel slightly odd writing that list. It's the kind of thing that could ruin careers if put out in the public domain. Oh well. Currently a student so don't care. 'The best tapping video ever made' was its name. I didn't click on it a long time cos I thought it was clickbait, then I clicked on it, and I had to publicly apologise to the best asmr-inducing tapper ever. While I do believe that crown was never predestined to grace the head of any particular asmrtist, it will take some doing to beat that level of intensity, as well as a certain Mickelous whose tapping speed is feared across the globe. Some say that the skulls he uses are from the bodies of people he has literally tapped to death. OK I'm going crazy. Good night!

I really love your videos. You have a careful, purposeful way of performing your ASMR that avoids any harsh or sudden noises and is very beautiful to watch. You also have a very gentle whispering tone and I really like that you do both spoken and non-spoken versions of your videos. The talking videos feel very personal and i enjoy the feeling of intimacy that they engender, but the videos without talking help me sleep better. Thank you for helping me to relax.

This mic is amazing! Never use the pop filter, because the way you did it is so much more asmr inducing! And I think the 3dio is great for ear related stuff like ear massage or ear cleaning... For the rest I prefer this mic and the other one you use (I forgot the name 😂). Anyway, I love this video ❤

These mics are amazing, the sounds are crisp and tingly. I keep coming back to this video, it does wonders! By far my fav video of yours. One thing though, what are the fluffy things on your mics? (I realized you actually did explain what they were in the video but I've always fallen asleep by that time heh)
That's awesome, I'm so pleased you like these mics :) The fluffy things are wind guards that are actually designed for my H5 recorder. They are used to help minimise wind noise when recording outside, as it sounds pretty bad when the wind blows onto the mic without a guard on. These mics wouldn't really need a wind guard though because they are meant for indoor use, but I like the way they sound for asmr haha. Thanks for watching :) ❤️

ASMR has single handedly rejuvenated the pop-rocks candy industry.
I love the lid sounds!! This mic defenitly doesnt seem to be as loud or as detailed in the sounds as the other mic. I always get tingles with the 3Dio but I didnt get tingles with this one. The sounds are still very relaxing though.
That's interesting! These mics have a lot more bass than my 3dio, so I think these will be better for things like crinkling and glass tapping, but the 3Dio is the best for ear massaging and ear cleaning :) There will be plenty more 3Dio videos coming, as soon as I get it back ) Thanks for watching and for your feedback ❤️
