I feel like Alien has been so successful bc it has a well-established identity... like somewhat psychedelic, sci-fi, largely East Coast urban vibe. This very much feels like an Alien video. Beautiful!

@@olicool476 not really, its any HD capable camera with a 4:3 anamorphic mode and an 8-15mm fisheye.
@@bennassimi1929 You can get this set up for around £1200-1500. Thats affordable.
This is serious perfection. Anyone know what it was filmed on? I thought DVX on progressive but the resolution is next level. Insane good look.

I think the wood is kinda easy to dent though, I tried nose slides on some rough areas and it’s got loads of bite looking marks in it.
The pop is slower but pops higher on alien workshop from my opinion due to the longer wheelbase so it feels heavier if you like that
@@giuseppeianniello3869 the first one I had was really solid and lasted me a cool minute! A little Over a month I’d say it just got sum razor tail and a small chip on the side of the nose. I got another one soon after that and it snapped in like the first week. So I’d say i just got unlucky with the second one. I was doing a backside heel of a small drop and I did land one foot on the nose other foot in the middle so I would say it’s my fault haha

I love the way he uses fisheye. I hate when the filmer gets too close and cuts off half an arm. A skaters arm movement is pretty important style wise.
