Honestly I felt soo bad for even bringing that up but I had to. I’m sure my love for JB will overpower my dislike for the feature but it is just soo frustrating when a perfectly good song is interrupted like that😭

Bam and Jackson have some great varied solo's (Air and Pretty Please honourable mentions) but Mark is also killing it with his English releases, One in a Million is one of my fave solo releases and he did an OST for Marvel's Shang Chi with Bibi, Never Gonna Come Down! Jinyoung and Youngjae have also released some more pop stuff which get you moving!

Gray is a producer/ artist he been with Jay Park Loco and Simon D Pretty much since AOMG started.
Yugyeom always been swerving even in JYPE 😂 his SoundCloud songs ( jayb’s too) always been wild and explicit. They used to put it on SoundCloud because JYPE refused these bc they were too explicit and not Kpop-sounding, now they’re free to release anything so it’s cool 😂
The storyline of all your fault is basically his girl cheated on him with the dude he bumps and hit on the sidewalk ( he saw them on the parking thingy kissing when YG came to bring her flowers) the MV is kinda putting flashbacks but from that moment he lost it and went crazy looked for the dude beat him up, went to a bar, as he already lost his mind ends up going ham at the people at the bar ( GRAY) when he gets out of the bar police is looking for him so he runs away and see his cheating girlfriend walking and he basically crash her with his car and gets arrested right after because the police was following him 😂😂 it’s indeed very wild but I loved the cinematography and concept.
JayB’s and Yugyeom had my favorite releases since I’m super big on rnb and rap I really loved their EP. I hope you can check more of the song they did on it. Bam bam’s EP was pretty strong too.

Sokodomo has a very distinct and « weird » style he’s actually super good and unique but it takes a couple of listen to like it his own work is actually pretty strong. You should definitely hear his song featuring Jay Park it’s called « MMM - Sokodomo ft Jay Park » the video of the song is one of the best I’ve seen in 2021 it’s like a movie
I can tell Yugyeom has that energy before this because it seems soo natural to him!

I'm quite sure Sokodomo's part has grown on you, because it felt the same for many of us the first time but then and suddenly you would feel that his verse does fit perfectly and it's explosive. Specially if you see the live version with the choreo... Just fire!!

Jackson and Bambam imo have the most diverse releases meaning they do music based on good songs not genres. So with Jackson you can get songs like Titanic ft Rich Brian that’s straight rap and hiphop but then you can get something like Drive You Home that has a contemporary pop sound. I love that about Jackson because it’s always a surprise & a wow factor that his talents can transfer over each genre. Mark be in his feelings always lol His album hasn’t released yet but from his first release Last Breath and the teaser for his 2nd release I’m pretty sure we’re all gonna be crying lmao
Also I realized you also like Blackpink and IDK if someone else already told you this but GOT7 & Blackpink are besties. Bambam & Lisa are literal childhood best friends and even danced in the same dance crew in Thailand. Even their families are extremely close. There is also a reference to him in her solo song. You can find some cute videos of them on TH-cam:)
The hiphop awards are coming up soon and I’m so torn between Jayb & Yugyeom. While Switch it up was without a doubt the song of my year and was my most played song. Yugyeoms whole album ranked top 10 for me for the year and he was my most played artist. Yugyeoms album had hit after hit.

I actually really like the feature on switch it up. The pimple line did take some getting used to though😂. Switch it up was a top 10 song for me according to my Apple Music in 2021. But the song in general got mixed reactions from fans bc it was very sexual and they weren’t used to it. But if you listen to the music he’s released under Def then he’s been doing sexual type rnb music for awhile so I was used to it. Yugyeom is my bias so I was expecting something more mature but was surprised by the violence lol. I definitely like the b-sides of his album more than the title. My favorite being “when u fall” and “falling in love”.
It wasn’t horrible by any means. JB was just going soo hard and then the feature just took the vibe in a whole different direction for me. Just could have done without it or maybe had Gray on it or something. Just my opinion
@@infinitelocke oh no it’s fine. Everyone has a preference especially when it comes to music. There’s plenty of songs I’ve listened to and liked but something in the song threw me off. Fans usually make different versions of a song like lofi versions or they take out rapping parts sometimes.

You're spot on though. I love Switch It Up but that verse from SD was definitely a weak spot in the song. In regards to Jay B's sound, if you listen to his music under his alias Def Sol, this is what he likes to put out. But he couldn't do that under JYPE. Jay B is all R&B. He credits D'ANGELO as his influence.

I agree, the feature was fine but on someone else's song. I felt the words were too young, teenage. For such a mature topic and Jayb singing those lyrics, it deserved a feature just as hot and tasteful.

His lyrics were eloquent innuendo but then when it came to the rap, it knocked me out of the flow of JayB's lyricism by being brass, a little bit ugh (pimples are in no way sexy. I know almost everyone has them but they ain't sexy) and totally didn't fit JayB's song lyrics.
It rhymed nice but I think other words and more words could have been utilized.

Yeah I take my music, fashion, sports seriously so I’m gonna always be honest as possible but I always wanna be respectful of the artist as well. This song really didn’t need rap at all so if ya gonna put a rapper on it, they should’ve had somebody “sing rap” like Yugyeom or somebody like that.
