Just watched the video where you talked about your bulging disc issue. Did it ever fully resolve? I've been dealing with a bulging disc for 10 years now. Have to use a standing desk all the time because I can't sit for more than 30 minutes. I stretch all the time to be able to continue riding and snowboarding but it's really limited how often I can go. Curious if you've found anything that's helped you.

Hey! Yeah I can honestly say that's it's about 100% resolved and I'm back to where I was previously. Sorry to hear how long you've been dealing with yours, that stinks. Not sure if there's any one thing that made all the difference, but stretching and some PT every once in a while was pretty helpful. For me it was my hip and hamstring stretches that tended to help the most, and even now i stretch regularly and use a foam roller. Sleeping on a heat pad has been great. Besides that, I took a month or so off of activities, and that seemed to accelerate my progression. Maybe my youth helped? In any case, hope things improve for you 🙏

Mines started when I was 24. I should try the head pad. It does sometimes feel worse in the mornings. Glad yours resolved. I moved to Seattle recently and have been watching a bunch of your trail previews.

Mr Oranges, I’m basically in the same boat. My lower back pain came on like a freight train around age 24 and I’ve been dealing with it ever since. I’m now 37 and it’s the worst it’s ever been. I can still MTB and ski but it takes a lot of regular strength and stretching PT to be able to. I’m switching to a new doctor and physical therapist to get second opinions and try for a new solution. Back issues are the worst. Good luck!!

@@blangeleven It's strange that the biking stance doesn't trigger any pain. It's really only sitting on a chair that triggers it for me. I have to pull over so many times to stretch in the back of my van on those long drives to Canada to bike. Been really wanting to get the surgery done after a few bad recent spikes but it seems like there's nothing with a worse reputation than back surgery. There are success stories out there though so it's tempting. The heating pad has actually been decent. I use it before stretching now.
