I actually think it would be a good idea to look down the barrel with a camera rather than your fuckin eye ball. People trippin cause they hold the phone up to their face
Thanks. I'm looking for something for my 10.5 inch pistol. I'm hoping to keep it under 26" so it will be a MIchigan pistol. MI law is not clear about whether a muzzle device is part of the length, so for the safe side, this might be the perfect fit.
Thanks I'm considering a lineal comp vs a flash can. I HATE the concussive blast from my carbine and can't imagine the blast from a pistol. So am excited about a device that can send the blast downrange instead of into my neighbor's ears at the range. I have a question, what length barrel and what length handguard did you go with to get that line-up with the comp. And then do you think this lineal comp does a better job that the flaming pig-style flash cans to keep the blast downrange? I'm a noob with these muzzle devices and all my guns have the standard A2 flash hiders so am trying to figure out what to use on my pistol build.
It’s to short, The physics can’t work with it that short ,not enough room to do what it needs to do. But it would be fantastic on the 16 inch barrel. NOT lol. If you really want something that works get the. EFAB
OK I love the gun. I love the Kak can and have one myself. Up until now I couldn't bring myself to pay the money for the high end SB brace product much less almost $400 for a Maxim product. But they finally came down. A buck eighty eight at Ammo Land for the FDE SB PDW. The blade thing - no offence - but it looks like it fell off the under side of a truck. Peace out.
Thanks for the lesson. I'm a very beginner and just bought a 7.5" ar-15. I wanted to change the muzzle brake (looks like there're many options that is better than birdcage it came with) but the part I need to unscrew is bit inside of the hand-guard (just inside to piss me-off, sorry). Is there a way to unscrew the birdcage w/o the taking whole damn hand-guard off? I appreciate your response in advance. Thanks!
So you can reuse a crush washer huh. They're saying not to cause it won't work correctly once you take a muzzle brake off and if you try an out back on. It looks fine to me though, maybe it depends on how flattened down it is.
Hey Peter, i know this is an older video but I was wondering if Ar 223 Linear Compensator 1.50" Nano was all you had to purchase and then just resused your original muzzke brake or if you had to purchase something else as well. Thnks!
Do you still use this comp? I really like the compact size of it and it’s functionality. I’m looking for a small linear comp but there’s not a whole lot on the market.
have you shot it when its darker outside to see if it helps with flash at all? looks like there is still a decent fireball. its pretty hard to get rid of the fire on a barrel that short
How can you tighten it down when the flats for the wrench are inside the handguard. You need to do better planning and look closer at the lengths of things.
Is it possible to replace the typical muzzle that’s on my PCC & replace it with that muzzle without replacing the entire barrel? Pls get back to me soon. Thanx
Probably shouldn’t go shorter than 10.3 inches with .223. It really takes the momentum out of the round. If you’re using a 7 inch barrel, .300 blackout is best
@@petervonpanda I'm working on a build myself and have a question. If your handguard is 8 inches and barrel is 7.5, then how does your threads stick out past the handguard? Im asking this question because I have a 7.5 inch barrel and im not sure what handguard to get
I dont see the point in having an AR pistol. That's what my sidearm is for. My AR is for targets 100+ yards. Good luck hitting an enemy from 500yds away with that pistol
Check out Paul Harrell videos where he does quite alright with a 5.56 and a 10.5 " barrel, and he stretches it out way past 100 yards. I believe 350-400 yards was his comfortable max distance.

i like the looks of that, gotta look for one for mini draco 762............ i was just on their website, apparently they dont make a ak47 7.62x39 . they have one for AR in 308....wtf
Actually the ATF changed their other mind on the matter once more around 2 weeks ago. All stabilizer braces are fine to shoulder now and as long as you don't permanently loctite the screws for the shockwave blade or have it with over a 13.5" length of pull you are fine to shoulder it. www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/04/foghorn/atf-reportedly-approves-shockwave-pistol-brace-shouldering/
p8ntballa9362 Holosun sights are rated pretty high. How about this, would you have enough confidence in them being CRAP enough to stand, or run downrange while being shot at by someone using a Holosun sight?
My buddy put a flash can on his AR pistol and man what a difference. It’s still loud but definitely directed down range. Much quieter and hardly any recoil compared to what I saw here. Is Flash Can a brand name? Cuz I think that’s what it was. The one with the cone inside. Was very impressive. Still had to wear headphones obviously but way less punishing.
Johnny YK Omega manufacturing I just bought one myself for regular AR. And one for 308 for my Ruger Gunsite Scout. Cheap too! Made of steel! And like $20-$25 each! You can’t buy a flash hider for that! Happy Trails.
+Grevlain I used to use co witnessing buis, until I got caught in the rain, and you couldn't see through the optic because it was all fogged up and covered with rain droplets. I switched to offsets after that.
Peter von Panda Yep, and if Optic goes down in Battle / SHTF there is no need to remove Optic, you just roll weapon to side and keep firing. *If you have a Uncle Sam Sugar Daddy, or equivalent that's cool with removing a $1,200 to $3,700 sight and tossing it disregard.
So long as you know the weapon is clear that's good enough. People need to relax and stop acting like they can be accidentally shot through TH-cam.

Thanks for the review! Greatly appreciated!
Great review. Could you make an outdoors video of this compensator? I would like to see how it performs while liying down on the dirt. Thank you
I have the same linear como on my spikes tactical 7.5” 300 blackout and love it!
7 inch barrels can be problematic. I went with a 10" barrel for better gas cycling
Did you put a linear comp?
Thanks. I'm looking for something for my 10.5 inch pistol. I'm hoping to keep it under 26" so it will be a MIchigan pistol. MI law is not clear about whether a muzzle device is part of the length, so for the safe side, this might be the perfect fit.
Marty I'm in Michigan as well the muzzle device does not count as overall length unless you have it pinned and welded

Very cool looking pistol. Very cool comp, it looks good on your pistol.
Man that 7.5 jumps a lot
Got one. Thanks for the heads-up.
I really don’t care if you safety checked the pistol, I’m not in the room at the time and place you’re filming this.
In comparison to the slr hybrid linear compensator what do you think and where did you get your handguard
It looks good but it looks like it has some pretty heavy recoil making it unable to get back on target as quick as one would like
That's what I was thinking. I just put a flash can on mine & I think my recoil is less than his. Just feels like it, not really sure of course.
It’s to short, The physics can’t work with it that short ,not enough room to do what it needs to do. But it would be fantastic on the 16 inch barrel. NOT lol. If you really want something that works get the. EFAB
I have a Fat Comp2 on mine, and it looks sick.
What kind of hand stop is that on the hand rail
Thats off of a bookshelf lol

I too need an answer to this question

Lots of comments about barrel handguard length. Are these difficult to measure?
So you can reuse a crush washer huh. They're saying not to cause it won't work correctly once you take a muzzle brake off and if you try an out back on. It looks fine to me though, maybe it depends on how flattened down it is.
Where did you get the 90 degree fire grip finger stop under the barrel??? It's no hand brace or stop... That's all I need... Thank you!!
By law do you have to pin and weld like you have to with the flash suppressor on a AR pistol?
I like the key-mod handguard. Still rocking that?
So when does the ATF knock come for having this evil pistol?
Hey Peter, i know this is an older video but I was wondering if Ar 223 Linear Compensator 1.50" Nano was all you had to purchase and then just resused your original muzzke brake or if you had to purchase something else as well. Thnks!
Love that flash can but what is that l shaped piece of metal clamped on your barrel guard, the one with the knurling on it?
Do you still use this comp? I really like the compact size of it and it’s functionality. I’m looking for a small linear comp but there’s not a whole lot on the market.
I still use it. I use a different one on a similar build. It’s a little larger but much easier to find
@@petervonpanda I will look into it

+GunsWithGage in the dark, the fireball is huge. It's awesome.
My wife just bought a noveske… i wish I told her about this nano
Peter, I am sorry in case I missed 5his in the vid but it does not look like you can get a wrench on it once it is inside the forend. How? Thanks//ji
I am looking for A compensator. For my .308 AR 10?
If you had a slightly longer barrel it would tame the muzzle flip on that .223
Will it fit in a 7in Handgaurd?
Is that a 7.5 handguard ?
What is that hand stop at the end of the guard called?
Kak
What is the hand stop you use on your pistol?
if you still have your ar pistol, hope you are keeping up with the whole atf sbr scheme!
I have been following, Don. And I refuse to believe that tyranny wins.
What brand is that barrier stop on your handguard?
How can you tighten it down when the flats for the wrench are inside the handguard. You need to do better planning and look closer at the lengths of things.
Get a crows foot wrench.
Is it possible to replace the typical muzzle that’s on my PCC & replace it with that muzzle without replacing the entire barrel? Pls get back to me soon. Thanx
If your barrels not threaded you can bring it to a gunsmith and they can thread your barrel
I know this is late but try the Strike Industries cookie cutter. It’s niceeee
I would say those that don’t clear the weapon before the video rarely get the chance to upload the video….
does this increase back-pressure? I need something to help cycle -_-
Does this Flash Can reduce the sound of the shots?
Nice claws, bro...
Probably shouldn’t go shorter than 10.3 inches with .223. It really takes the momentum out of the round. If you’re using a 7 inch barrel, .300 blackout is best
Yeah, I agree it's not optimal, but it does punch paper pretty good. I want to do a 300BLK upper build. Should be an all around good pistol
You should have measured from where the threads stop. About an inch then.
Personally dont like keymod the cut out shape kinda looks funny
What hand stop/barricade stop is that? Been looking at a few
@6:23 35 and a quarter millimeters just sounds funny.
Wonder if they make a 9mm version.
Linear
Cool vid I just did a vid on Kak can I like thnx for showing
Show us the comp. Your just showing everyone the weapon
It weighs half a freaking POUND!! Forget it!
Como lo compro ??
You prefer this to the KAK Industry aluminum Micro? Any noticeable loss in effectiveness when comparing the Nano to the regular size S&J comp?
Kaw Valley has a nice linear compensator, it's fluted and comes in black and fde.
I have the m&p 7.5 inch ar pistol with the linear comp on it and wanna swap it out. Don’t really like the look of it.
You lost me when you said " it's kind of a tubular shape " .
Looking for a Linear Compensator for my AR any recommendations?
With the new illegal laws coming I need 5 1/2 inches now lol
check out the noveske flaming pig
This pistol is like the riced out civic of import scene
Nice hand guard. Who makes it?
SJ tactical
S&J HARDWARE USA.
This will run with 5.56???
They have different sizes, S&J HARDWRE USA.
Yes because the threaded end of the barrel is the same.
Nice pistol! Will this work for 300 acc?
Thanks! I'm not sure if it's big enough for 300
Hi. May I ask what's the length of the barrel and the handguard?
My barrel and hand guard are both 8”

Keymod
Not sure but the flash and recoil seem greater than the kak mini, judging from ur other vid..
+CLplusP you're probably right. The other problem is since you can't shoulder it, the movement tends to look a bit exaggerated.
Peter von Panda lmao
Peter von Panda Not to mention that the mini Kak is only $15. I'm going with that for my AR 15 pistol with 7.5 inch barrel. Thanks for the video.
I dont see the point in having an AR pistol. That's what my sidearm is for. My AR is for targets 100+ yards. Good luck hitting an enemy from 500yds away with that pistol
The AR pistol can do everything a carbine can do within a 100 yards. It’s benefit is being a pistol, it can be loaded in a vehicle.
Go rack your shotgun some where else fudd

14M LH threads. $35
