Still one of my all time fav songs..... Thank you very much. The 80's and early 90's were undeniably the Golden age of Cantopop/. Each and every song that came out were incredibly addictive and everlasting and sung by the the best and greatest HK Cantopop singers.
This was the song I heard from Vivian when I came to discover her in a random research. This song reminded me of Dua Lipa’s New Rules and IDGAF - A sad song and a redemption song in one like this are examples of multidimensional type of music!
Wow, when it says, "delusional love" it meant it! I had no idea what the song meant after listening to it for years. I had no idea it was such a cold rejection! The lyrics are great and I love how both angelic and "yeah, you have no chance with me" Vivian's voice is
Thank you for making all these wondering videos! If it is possible, I would love to see a translated lyrics video of 千個太陽 - 葉德嫻, 陳潔靈🙏 I've always loved that song
Seems like I missed the boat with this one since I was sleeping… Good work! Hey.. Just outta curiosity, I wonder if 片片楓葉情 by 張智霖 and 許秋怡 is on your to do list… 😏
@@lookatthesigns You definitely should, especially if you like "Modern Love Story" or other duets by Chi-Lam + Maple. I have the 片片楓葉情 MV uploaded on my channel when you want to give it a listen ^^
hi there, first of all thank you for translating this. I just have a minor correction to one phrase: bit gun ngo yu faai ma. shouldn't this be translated directly to: 'don't worry about me. Please hurry' ? Secondly, I always thought that the phrase 'waan si yiu gung sik tung hoi' means 'you will eventually need to realize/expose the bitter truth'? something like 'it's painful but it needs to be exposed for what it is rather than keep on deluding yourself'

大部分广歌我小时候都听过不过这些广歌是越南人拿来做他们的版本
Cute song.

Nothing like you imagined isn't it?
I am the love maniac.

I heard this song in a Vietnamese Pho restaurant. Do you have Faye Wong's song Ai Yu Tong De Bian?
Nice
Idea: 暗恋你 by Jacky Cheung
Taking a break from Jacky Cheung's songs at the moment to give more attention to other artists. It pains me but it's only temporary!
What a esternly song..is that the original lyrics? just confused..
It's the original Cantonese lyrics translated to English. I didn't add any of my own commentary.
