I had the MRI done. Then went through fistulectumy. Done in two stages. First surgery had drainage and loose seton placement. Second surgery was fistulectumy with tight seton placement. Entire tract was removed. On visiting the surgeon after 2.5 months as the wounds were not healing and a little puss used to come. No pain though. doctor's suggestion is to go for another surgery. What is the point in going through multiple complex surgeries if it's not a permanent solution? Both surgeries were very painful. Life has completely stopped from 6 months. Surgery was done by one of the best GI surgeon in a metro city.

Very well explained sir, I agree with each of ur words 110% as I just underwent fistulectomy surgery 2 days back, did MRI, consulted 4 doctors, homeopathy, laser, etc, took multiple opinions to avoid surgery, finally took a call and got operated in Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai
